Wake or floor boards were introduced to pull the front tyre wake inboard, preventing it from disturbing the car behind. The loosely worded regs allowed outwash geometry, which unlike other areas haven't been revised in the 2027 rules. 馃摳 @DMerinoF1 #F1 #Ftech #MexicoGP

The rear tyre deck area, with the assortment of slots and fence. These maintain the airflow into the diffuser, driving the diffuser slot and preventing tyre wake upsetting the airflow. 馃摳 @DMerinoF1 #F1 #Ftech #MexicoGP

Rather than car by car, here's some tech galleries from @DMerinoF1 First up cooling louvers, low air density at the #MexicoGP means more cooling flow is required to manage PU temperatures. #F1 #F1tech

I mentioned the use of CV joints in an #F1 steering column. Here's one in action... 馃摴 @AlpineF1Team
#MV3 was complaining of stiffness in the steering, this could be the in steering rack or column. The column is in 2 pieces with joints to transfer the motion. Cars no longer use universal joints, due to the stop start motion, but instead use CV joints. #F1 #F1tech #AustinGP

Here's the Ayumu Iwasa #AI15 seat for FP1. Rather than a full custom carbon fibre seat, this appears to be a foam insert (blue) fitted into a larger outer carbon seat (yellow), I suspect from another driver (MV ?). 馃摳 @DMerinoF1 #F1 #F1tech #MexicoGP
