I made something! 🎉
At it’s heart, Travelist is a personal note-taking app where each note is also a location on a map. Places can be organized into lists like “My Favorites”, “Places to Go”, or “Italy 2019”.
I hope you’ll check it out! 🥰

In hindsight, maybe scheduling my COVID booster on Black Friday at the CVS inside of Target wasn’t the smartest idea…
To the 22 users who crashed because they don’t have enough space on their device to create a one-line text file: 😬
I can’t help but think that if Apple had shipped the iOS 15 beta 6 Safari UI in beta 1 that this setting may never have been created. The new UI looks much more reasonable.

Me every time I see a retain cycle in a #WWDC21 video: 😬😰
And I have seen quite a few so far.
I understand that code looks better without [weak self], but lots of engineers are going to copy paste this code into their own projects.
It’s hard to believe I’ve been using @reederapp as my main RSS reader for over ten years now. Version 5 is a great update to a great app. Check it out!

I found this to be an interesting, pragmatic approach to adopting React Native. I agree with @bryanjclark that navigation tends to be the worst part of React Native apps. By focusing on just the contents of each screen, the app is better able to remain a good platform citizen.
📱Our #mobile team works hard to bring you the 🤩 fantastic #KhanAcademy apps.

Really looking forward to when the new parser episodes on @pointfreeco start to drop. The original set is my favorite series that Point-Free has produced so far.
You can find the first episode here: pointfree.co/episodes/ep56-w…
We hope to get back to parsing real soon, and we've got so much we want to talk about. Recursion, performance, invertibility and more!
Until then, there was a little discussion on our episodes repo that may whet your appetite 🍰

Similarly, it is now possible to grant apps like Slack and Facebook access to specific photos instead of everything in your photo library. This is a great change for privacy advocates. #WWDC2020
I’m a big fan of the new reduced accuracy API for location tracking in iOS 14. My weather app doesn’t need to know my home address, but I’m totally ok with it knowing where I am within 5 or so miles. #WWDC2020
With that dialog and wording, Apple is effectively killing the IDFA in iOS 14.
The new “Permission to Track” system makes me really miss iAd. Where I could use it in my apps and be confident it wasn't doing anything shady. Maybe it could be reborn from Search Ads showing ads just for the App Store rather than big brands? developer.apple.com/app-stor…
I wonder if you can also use this cloth to clean your titanium Apple Card… 😅
