bitcoin:native Monday Preplan & Trade
Preplan remains the same: I'm watching for longs in the green zones. The way BTC is currently coming down, we might go to the demand zone below.
My short position is running in profit, SL moved, TP1 at the range low. I shouldn't lose on this one.
This is also a good example of why you shouldn't move your stop loss if it isn't valid. I always see people move their SL because they're going to sleep, but that's not really a valid reason. You should only trail it if your system allows it. I would have been stopped out if I had moved mine.
Wishing everyone a great Monday!
bitcoin:native Weekly Preplan
The play is overall quite simple.
We're in a clear range and like always, we're going to trade the liquidity rotations.
Take the range low first without sweeping the high -> look for longs targeting the buyside liquidity higher.
Take out the highs without sweeping the liquidity at the lows -> look for shorts targeting sellside.
I've marked my main points of interest with red and green boxes on the chart.
The highest probability longs are obviously at the extremes of our range, into the supply or demand POIs (bigger boxes).
For me it doesn't really matter which side we take out first, I'm just going to trade what we get. That's why it doesn't make sense to predict now whether we'll take the low or the high first. Trying to predict this adds no edge to your system.
Zones are preplanned, bait is in the water, we wait for price to bite it.
I did decide to enter a short position on the SMT at the high, combined with the local sweep and the sellside liquidity we've got below.
I'm currently running this setup with half risk, due to taking it on the weekend and for the location, since we're basically at the EQ of the range itself (best trades are at the extremes). Given the RR of 7 to last week's inefficiency, combined with the local confluences, I did take the trade.
Moving away from the technicals to more general things, we've got the monthly close next week, which MMs usually like to manipulate before we close, ending up manipulating the closing price of the monthly candle. So expect some increased volatility.
News-wise, we've got some important events with our Core PCE Price Index m/m on Wednesday and the Non-Farm Employment Change on Friday. Definitely keep track of those.
Besides that, I'm excited for next week since this overall range is developing really nicely. Wishing everyone a great start into the new week!
Don't try to make money every day.
Try to become the trader who:
- waits for their setup
- risks a predefined amount
- accepts losses without revenge
- takes profits according to their plan
- reviews every mistake
- compounds skill before capital
- survives long enough for their edge to matter
New video. Dropping sauce on this week's trades:

The key levels haven't changed.
Market structure hasn't changed.
Logically then, my bias hasn't changed.
For a bit more context you can check the tweet- the "sub .29" level that was being referred to is the last major low at .2885, which remains unbroken.
If your bias has changed from .37 to where we are now- ask yourself if it's an objective shift in bias or if you are simply being swayed by the negative sentiment and emotions that come with red candles.
