People probably don’t want to hear about the bad officiating after that collapse. Nebraska had breaks with replay last night. But how do you miss five players in the offensive backfield on fourth and 1 in this spot? Isn’t there an official whose job it is to count? Anyway, after watching incredible games all day on Saturday, I will say there is an epidemic of poor officiating in CFB. The Notre Dame-BYU finish is off-the-charts ridiculous. The reliance on replay has made officials worse at their jobs. Especially on the plays like this one that are not reviewable.
