This is such a pathetic way of living and perceive life
“Blowouts are for the female gaze” is a preposterous statement.
As someone who’s spent at least £50k over the last 15 years on blowouts making sure men trip over thin air when I walk by, I can assure you they notice.
They just don’t always understand what they’re noticing.
I’ve walked into rooms and watched conversations stop mid-sentence, doors get held open and baristas forget how to use the card machine.
Hair is an extension of the body’s electromagnetic field, a living filament of charge and light. When it’s full, glossy and buoyant, it reflects internal coherence: radiant hormonal balance, metabolic vitality and youthful magnetism.
Your magnetic aura in motion.
It’s no coincidence that this is the signature hairstyle of the Victoria’s Secret era, the visual shorthand for vitality, sensual charge and fertility.
A bouncy blowout isn’t “for the female gaze” at all. It’s *the* male-gaze magnet.
Your husband might just be a bit odd. Or playing with you.
