🚨🎙️ Wayne Rooney on Bruno Fernandes’ post match statement about Carrick’s tactics: 🗣️"I listened to what Bruno said after the match, and to be perfectly honest with you, I think he’s completely lost his head. Standing in front of the cameras and throwing Michael Carrick and the coaching staff under the bus like that is unacceptable for any player, let alone the captain of Manchester United. When you wear that armband, you stand up, take responsibility, and protect the group. You don't come out in public questioning the tactics and pointing fingers at the setup just to take the heat off yourself after getting beaten 4–1 by Como. That’s not leadership—that’s a player looking out for his own reputation. And look, it’s obvious to anyone watching that Michael Carrick is losing the dressing room right now. When you see a team look that lifeless, conceding in the first two minutes, and then the captain goes straight onto television to openly slate the game plan, the authority from the manager is completely gone. The players have clearly stopped buying into what he’s telling them. But Bruno needs to look in the mirror before pointing fingers at Carrick. He’s looking like a shadow of the player he used to be when he first arrived at Old Trafford. His performances over recent months haven't been anywhere near the level required, and frankly, he doesn't have the right to be talking about tactics when he's giving you nothing on the pitch. If you’re going to call out Carrick's instructions, you’d better be delivering a 10 out of 10 performance yourself. But he was passive, he couldn't influence the game, and then he goes off the pitch to publicly undermine his manager. When the captain starts doing that, it completely destroys squad unity and proves the dressing room has shattered."

🚨💣 Roy Keane BLASTS Michael Carrick after Manchester United are held to a 1-1 draw by 10-man Tottenham. 🗣️ Keane: “I’m absolutely disgusted . I’ve said it before, and I’ll keep saying it that Michael Carrick is NOT the man for this job. He simply isn’t. He lacks the charisma, the authority, the personality and the winning mentality required to manage a club of Manchester United’s magnitude.” “You’re leading against Tottenham, they’ve had a man sent off, and somehow you still manage to throw it away? Are you having a laugh?“ “This is the FIFTH time Manchester United have faced an opponent who received a red card and still couldn’t win the game. That is beyond embarrassing. It’s an absolute disgrace, and somebody needs to start asking serious questions.” “Six points from six games is an embarrassment. I look at that United dressing room and I see players who are comfortable with mediocrity. No hunger, no leadership, no accountability. Half of them wouldn’t have survived five minutes in the dressing room I played in.” “And Carrick? He just stands there looking completely lost. Where’s the fire? Where’s the anger? Where’s the personality? You can’t manage Manchester United simply because you were a good player for the club. This isn’t a retirement home for former United players.” “I’ve had enough of this sentimental nonsense about giving former players opportunities. Manchester United need a proper manager, not another familiar face who makes everyone feel comfortable.” “The standards at this football club haven’t just dropped. They’ve been buried six feet underground. And the most frightening thing is that half these players don’t even look embarrassed anymore.” #MUNTOT
