#NEW: Following her final debate against #Republican Mike Minogue @mikeminoguema, #Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey @MassGovernor refused to honestly answer whether she knew about her disgraced former aide LaMar Cook’s violent criminal history, including 2001 driven shooting charges, before hiring him. We reported at the Herald @bostonherald in December that a public records request proved Mass. State Police informed her of this. I asked Healey about this clearly and directly several times, to which she kept falling back on “firing him before he was even arraigned” on his serious state drug and gun charges in October 2025. Cook was arrested yesterday on federal #SNAP and wire fraud charges.
