It’s difficult to fully appreciate just how powerful and effective Counter-Reformation art truly was, particularly the work of Caravaggio, whose paintings often feel astonishingly cinematic.. Thank you Protestants!
BROKEN was a fun film to draw, and even more fun to record sound effects for.. just passed 10 Million views btw!
i just realized that i've had at least one animated short in film festival circulation non-stop for the last 25 years. truly an addiction.
🎉 10 MILLION VIEWS! 🎉
My animated short POUR 101 has officially passed 10 million views!
Special recognition to the brilliant composer Rafael Krux, whose music is absolutely essential to this film.
The sixth film in the POUR series, POUR 101 explores the transfer of knowledge and ideas, and the strange truth that not everyone grows simply by taking in more.
Thank you to everyone who has watched, shared, and helped these strange little glasses continue their journey around the world. Onward! 🍷

I’ve never had good drawing skills. So over the last 30 years I leaned on what I did have: A work ethic. I can’t out-draw you, but I can out-work you. It’s an important lesson: Lean on what you can do well, to make up for what you can’t.
looking at glen keane's rough animation proves the that there is a very thin line between inspiration and depression.
this is not only a clever (and appreciated) hit on AI, but it's also a call for us digital artists to come home to our roots: pick up a pencil and paper, and DRAW! Let's face it, when we draw digitally, the drawing ceases to exist without electricity.

ai art actually requires way more talent and skill than pencilslop bc you have to be really good at the English language to make good ai art while pencilslop is made by copying what u see

My coloring method in Adobe Animate: I fill outside the image, then fill and color the shape inside and under the line art. Then a shadow layer on top of everything. How do other people color? as a one man operation, i'm always curious.
