Its past 11 at night... there's a very severe cyclonic storm raging... How about walking through knee-deep water to visiting some seaside neighbourhoods and assessing the impact..

I've reached Yanam, which is expected to bear the maximum brunt of Very severe cyclonic storm Arnab...
Have started reporting from here... winds are insane.. twigs and branches are falling from everywhere around us..never know what will fly in from where!

ISRO GSLV-F18/NVS-03 Launch is all set for Friday, Oct 30th late night... Cyclonic storm Arnab(likely to intensify into severe/very severe) is expected to move several 100kms north of Sriharikota(Vizag-Bapatla)..Therefore, no issues foreseen..

@cmrlofficial phase 2 is running between 12-18 months behind schedule. Think of the inconvenience to people living in those areas, the access problems, the awful roads and the additional distance they need to cover just to get home. Most of all, think of the businesses in these areas devastated by the prolonged work. So many shops have shut down. Go to Luz corner and see for yourself.
No one is accountable for the delays. This is how things go in India etc...
All this for a project that is currently carrying not even one third of the originally projected traffic for the Phase completed and has consumed a huge amount of money. #ChennaiMetro
