That is a smart move on the part of Trump. In most previous similar situations the Democrats have used this as a Church/State Issue to use against conservatives for supporting Religion. They are keeping quiet now because it benefits them politically if Trump continued to use government funds to support Catholic Charities. Trump has taken that away from democrats.
