Merry Christmas from our church family to yours! Here’s some old Christmas memories of our church family through the years!
Going through some photos from our old church directories. Here's a pic of the aftermath of the 1962 Chili Cookout. The outhouse had to be burned soon after.
Going through some photos from our old church directories. Circa 1929. The caption under this one said “Jenkins doesn’t trust automobiles because they’re not in the Bible”

We would very much like to be excluded from this narrative.
Rev. Earl is excited to kick off his new sermon series called "Place In This World", inspired by the brand new Michael W. Smith song of the same name

Can't wait to see our congregation in their Easter clothes! Hopefully they'll wear more clothes than they did for last year's Easter Zoom service.
If you have any pairs of underwear you are no longer using, bring them to the church. The sewing ministry will be making masks out of them. Pairs with holes in them will be discarded. Pairs with skid marks are discouraged but accepted.

We're looking forward to having our congregation back for live services tomorrow. Except for Jerry. We kinda enjoyed not having him here.
We had a meeting with Rev. Earl about modernizing his sermon examples. He has agreed to phaze out mentioning the following:
Netscape Navigator
The Blackwood Brothers
VCRs
Robert Tilton
The Jews (outside of the Bible)
Barry Goldwater
He said everything else is fair game
Some people think that the pandemic will bring about a one-world government. Not all bad times are signs of the end times. One of our former preachers said the end was near after the Kickapoo Creek syphilis outbreak of '83, but those fears and the outbreak went away when he left
