This is why you never simp out on your job and always put yourself first
Tim Tebow was offered $1 million for 1 day of work. Bill Belichick asked him to turn it down. 2013. Tebow had just landed with the Patriots. "I don't think it was even a contract. I'm just trying to make the team." Then a company offered him a $1 million endorsement deal. One day of work, on an off day. But when he joined, Belichick had asked him to stay under the radar. "I said, yes sir, I'll do my best." So he called the coach about the offer. "I'd really appreciate it if you turned it down." He turned it down. A few days later the Patriots cut him. No job. No car. No home. "That day of service would have been twice as much as I would have made if I would have made the team for the entire season." He passed on $1 million for a 1% better shot at a backup job. He didn't get the job.

Being at the top always has a price and every single one that makes it looks back and realizes they overpaid

I think everyone sharing the idea that “something is wrong” or “things are weird” is really just shared nostalgia Yes, things are different than they were 20 years ago, just like they always are Life is still good Covid wasn’t even that bad. Nobody actually made you get the shot, and the virus was not a big deal Understand how your body reacts to fear, and why the media constantly sells it Never doom. Christ is king

Preview your cold email with real leads before you hit launch. Merge fields look fine in the editor. Then lead #47 has no company name and the email reads "I noticed that does great work." How to catch it: 1. Open the preview on 5 to 10 actual rows, not the sample lead. 2. Check first name, company name, spacing and punctuation. 3. If a field is empty, the sentence should still read normally. If it doesn't, fix the row or hold that lead back. One bad merge tag tells a stranger you're a mass sender, and they won't reply to that. It takes two minutes to check.

AI will write your cold email in 10 seconds. It will also lie in it. It’ll promise “nothing upfront” when you charge a monthly fee. It’ll invent a result you never got. It’ll offer a free resource you never made. Prospects reply to those promises, and then you have to walk them back on the call. Before you launch: Read the email out loud. Does it sound like something you’d say? Check every promise, result and resource. Delete anything you can’t back up. Preview it with real leads to make sure empty fields don’t break the sentence. Takes two minutes. Saves you the awkward call.

Read this book last week and now I’m questioning how I’ve been living for the past six years I used to be focused on nothing but constant self-improvement and always being the best version of myself (with the occasional hard partying and fucking off to blow off steam) But I was always a total hard-ass to friends and normies and people who weren’t focused on getting rich and in shape, and raising a top-tier family Now I’m sober, and realizing there’s not much more important than just having fun, being a good person, and living for Christ Implement the teachings of this book and you will feel your cortisol drop immediately

Changing “Hi” to “Hey” is not a new test. A real test gives the reader a different reason to reply. If every variant says the same thing with different greetings, you learn nothing, even after 1,000 sends. Write 3 or 4 first emails that each take a different angle: A direct question about their problem A result you can actually back up “We handle all the work for you” Same list, same offer, different hook. Now when one wins, you know which reason made people reply and you can build on it. Wording tweaks are fine for variety. They just can’t be the strategy.
