Inverse Vision.
I am struggling to find the right words but I will start by stating the obvious that Leadership, as we have historically thought of it, is being re-imagined, to coin a new fangled term.
One person's re-imagined is another's eliminated.
The notion of Leadership, at least my take on it, is that it serves to convey Vision and test whether that Vision can scale through the conveyance of that Vision from the CEO through well executed Leadership.
The purpose and all modeling and preparation was to lead People into battle.
Now what do we do?
Most of the Vets who actually led people into battle are no longer with us.
And who are the people we are supposedly leading into battle?
In an upside down world in which it is not People we are leading into battle but rather a blend of People and Technology or, at least in the abstract, Technology alone, what is actually required from Leadership.
Is a Steve Jobs or Bill Gates even necessary?
Seems like we could be in some warped Inverse Vision in which growth is rarely if ever defined by headcount. Intellectual Property is no longer associated with headcount.
Nothing but questions is where I land.
I do not have any answers but I will tell you this....I am very encouraged that the two teams in the World Series this year are run by humans.
Go Humans!
Freedom is very uncomfortable. Especially to those that are threatened by it.
You have to ask yourself who or what kind of person would be threatened?
I fear for the world.
I am hopeful my fears are unwarranted.
I fear I am wrong to be hopeful.
I am hopeful that I may be wrong to be fearful.
I suspect this wild swing between optimism and fear is pretty wide spread right now.
What can we do to bring us all to the middle?
Is there a middle any more and will I be allowed to live there?
I am hopeful there is a middle and most of us are already there.
There is strength and safety in the middle.

If you people are thinking that radical Islam and Communism or even Liberalism are compatible, then you are in for a huge surprise...and not a good one.
I am not sure we are grasping the magnitude of what is coming.
Every single job we have taken for granted is being reimagined with AI Powered Robotics.
Every single job.
What clear examples of Communism vs. Capitalism comparisons in real life within the same geographies and cultures.
North and South Korea
East and West Germany
Done. Over.
Are we good?
Real simple:
1) Arrest 100+ of these rioters
2) Squeeze them for information about who is paying them to riot.
3) Arrest those people.
4) Rinse Repeat until you get to the mastermind
5) Throw that guy in jail forever
We cannot nor should we tolerate this.
Real Simple.
Every layer of safety has become an expectation. And the more layers added the more the expectation. That is what has happened and many warned about this and were dismissed.
We used to Rebel for Freedom.
Now we Rebel for more stuff.
And destroy the very mechanism that provides more stuff.
Which is Freedom.
That is called biting the hand that feeds you.
