Today is the 30th anniversary of the release of the RATM album EVIL EMPIRE. Recorded in a tiny rehearsal room in Hollywood it was our first #1 album and went on to sell 3 million copies. The CD booklet featured a “Rage Reading List” to accompany the sonic assault. Fave songs/books?
Kid ‘96 is almost done! I just updated all 170 passages with a big polish pass adding a new UI, new art and animations, and a ton of bug fixes. I’m getting really excited to share it.

I sent ChatGPT an audio file of a series of FART sound effects and asked what it thinks of "my music" and this is what it said
I'm finishing up the animations for the Kid '96 Dream Powers. Flying gives you access to hidden locations and supercharges mobility.

Since I am working on a game set in 1996 I have been listening to a lot of music that came out in 1996. Today I was listening to the first Modest Mouse album while I had a long drive, though I had much to think about.

Happy New Moon, Lunar Year, Fat Tuesday, and Ramadan Mubarak! So many holidays converging on this new moon!
Because of the money I’ve been able to raise for my cats medical costs, I’ve been able to make a small donation to the Gaza sewing factory. They distribute free bags to displaced people and are Gaza residents themselves. The more I can raise the more I will donate.

ELAINE I can’t believe Jerry’s in the files
GEORGE Yeah, to think of Jerry hanging out on Epstein island… still an invite would’ve been nice
ELAINE George! He’s a pedophile!
GEORGE I know I know!
ELAINE (coy) Plus the dinner wasn’t even that great…
GEORGE He invited YOU??
We’ve raised enough money to cover Midge’s initial vet visit! Her new prescription food just arrived, and she has some time before she’s fully recovered, but at least she’s not in pain and otherwise healthy. I am so deeply grateful.
My favorite places I have played music (as a bassist/singer)
My friend’s backyard in San Diego
Masonic Hall in San Diego
ABC No Rio NYC
Chum’s Coffee Shop at Brandeis University
O’Brien’s Pub in Boston
Bookstore in DC (we blew a fuse midway through the set).
