A fun and exciting PR initiative with the #Bounty Malteser swap in #Celebrations this Christmas. Unlikely to cause much extra work either - even in Bounties are eaten last they're still eaten!! metro.co.uk/2021/11/10/you-c…
After so long without events it was great to attend another one last week, as we supported clients at the #Airmic2021 conference in Brighton, UK!
Fantastic to be in Brighton for this year's #airmic conference! Can't beat being by the sea!
Great to be getting back to more in-person events - this time supporting our client @IntlSOS with an interview at this year's @BTShowlondon, discussing the role of digital health passes in the return of business travel
A really interesting podcast with @tomroche279 of @FMGlobal covering #sprinklers and #fireprotection across a wide range of building types
Episode 6 of our Assembly Point podcast is available! Join Howard Passey and guest Tom Roche from FM Global as they discuss the fact that sprinklers have still not been made mandatory for all new or major refurbished school buildings in England. Listen: bit.ly/AssemblyPointPodcast

With the #europeansuperleague effectively finished, what was the cause of its downfall? Poor #comms and stakeholder engagement, or just a fundamentally flawed concept? As football fans we can't pretend to like the concept, but for us there's no doubt the comms were also a factor
Interesting reading this study, and highlights changes in behaviour that seem to have followed the pandemic. This is a trend that our Consultant @SBurgess95 highlighted mid-way through last year, in this piece - sermelo.com/news-and-insig… #PR #mediarelations #comms
Don't phone journalists with pitches. DON'T PHONE JOURNALISTS WITH PITCHES. One of the most frustrating things of the WFH movement is broadcast producers using mobiles to book TV/radio hits so it's now a coin flip whether picking up the phone earns a disturbance fee or a PR pitch
Our Associate Partner @GillianEdw is speaking at a @BritAmBusiness panel discussion, where she will be detailing how communications can support with the smooth return of business travel. The event is taking place tomorrow at 3pm. Register to attend here: babcphl.com/2021/03/return-t…

This Australian tech law could be very impactful, particularly if a worldwide precedent is set. It would have significant impact not only on the #media but on #PR as well, particularly if #bigtech no longer directs traffic to outlets and news sites bbc.co.uk/news/world-austral…
With all the fierce competition, it can be challenging to cut through the noise to secure the national coverage brands rightfully desire. Our consultant @SBurgess95 shares insight into navigating this competition in his latest blog. #PR #media #pitching sermelo.com/news-and-insight…

#AI recruitment - imagine being passing or a failing job application based on the judgement of a computer? As this piece highlights, it's critical that any #bias is accounted for, or risk failing users and applicants through discrimination bbc.co.uk/news/business-5593…

This is a really difficult one - clearly the abuse that many public figures receive is absolutely vile, but would banning anonymous accounts actually stop this? And how do you balance the move with privacy concerns? It'd be great to hear your thoughts! #socialmedia #privacy
Some of the abuse on here is truly vile. How hard would it be to implement a system where you can’t get an account without photo ID? Removing the cloak of anonymity would surely reduce the number of fooligans & numpties.
