FR RHP Brody Scheffler (@loggerbaseball) pitching at 89-90 mph (2400+ rpm) in his โpen.
Went to an upper-70s SL w/ sweeping action and displayed a hard CH at 83-86 mph.
Athletic arm that works quick. Will be a prospect to follow for the next two years.

On the mound for @IlliniBaseball โฌ๏ธ this pitch was the only bad one of the dozen thrown by JR RHP Joe Catalano. The juco transfer sat 94 95 with 3 usable secondaries in a 2600 rpm 76 77 CB, 80 CH and 82 SL. Looks like a great follow for this spring.

SS @j_scheff19 (Springfield HS, IL) stood out this summer with an advanced left-handed bat. The 6-foot, 165-pound shortstop showed impressive bat-to-ball skills and an innate ability to adjust his swing plane, pairing a high-waisted, athletic frame with plenty of room to add strength. ๐ @CTrinkle23
