Livingston Parish Clerk of Court, Jason Harris, read to our students for childhood hunger awareness day. Thanks to all who donated to Mighty Moms!

Our teachers and staff had the best time competing with a STEM Challenge today!

Some of our staff volunteered for Assess the Need this morning! 🍎

You never know who might pick you up! Our assistant principal, Mrs. Castille, is finishing up her bus certification and picked up our pink bus kids this morning! She’s the best! 🐾

Seventh Ward has the “Best in the West” and that includes our students and their families! Thank you for sending snacks or volunteering your time today! 🐾

Tonight Mrs. Mury was recognized as Teacher of the Year, and Noah Roblin was recognized as Student of the Year! Seventh Ward Elementary was recognized for having an Excellent Rated Pre-K Site, and for being an Equity and Top Gains Honoree.

Captain Patch visited our kindergarten classes today and gave them a special mission to hide their gold around campus!

Students who are new to Seventh Ward this year were invited to have lunch with the principal. It was great to hear their thoughts about our school! 🐾

Our Seventh Ward staff members donated items to be sent to Houma to help in recovery from Hurricane Ida. 💛

Thanks to the families, faculty, and staff of Seventh Ward Elementary, First Baptist Church, and the DSHS baseball, soccer, and track/field team for helping us get ready for the return to school. Christ Community Church provided lunch for us. We love our community! 🐾

Seventh Ward Staff, Friends, and Families are asked to consider coming on Friday, September 3rd at 1:00pm to help clean up our school. Please bring yard tools that could be used to clean up debris. Rakes, wheelbarrows, and clippers etc. We will meet in the front carpool circle.
