Making good progress on the Copilot Mission Control app! 🚀 - Insights into everything going on as Copilot CLI works - Time travel to review turns - History screen to analyze information - New Mission Analytics Chat feature - I'm excited about this one! 🎉 The chat feature uses the Copilot SDK to chat about Copilot CLI usage, discover areas that can be improved with prompts, your skills, agents, and more. A work in progress but it's coming along nicely!

I built a free Clean Architecture template. And now I've made it even better by adding Aspire. More than 40,000+ developers have already downloaded it. Here's what's inside: - Simple domain model - Domain Events pattern - CQRS + clean use cases - Validation and logging - Authentication with JWT - Boilerplate for RBAC Authz - Minimal APIs, health checks - Run locally with Aspire in seconds I also made sure not to use any commercial libraries. Get the template here: milanjovanovic.tech/template…

"The best C# course I ever had!" As a content creator, there's nothing more that I could ask for. I put a lot of effort into this Getting Started course and the Deep Dive one that follows it. Very happy to hear this kind of feedback! It's awesome to get people started off on their programming journey. P.S. - If you've used any of my courses and found them helpful, please let me know! I'd love to share your testimonial 💪♥️ Check out the course here: dometrain.com/course/getting… #DotNet #CSharp #LearnToCode #Coding #Programming

IT'S NOT JUST A COMMAND. MICROSOFT SHIPPED SOMETHING WINDOWS DEVELOPERS HAVE NEEDED FOR YEARS sudo natively, on windows no more closing your terminal and relaunching as admin just to run one command it's built into windows 11...written in rust & it actually ships in the os, not as a third-party workaround the caveat..? it's not a linux sudo port different OS, different permission model... Some unix scripts won't transfer directly but for 95% of day-to-day dev tasks, this is the fix windows has needed for years enable it: settings → developer features → sudo for windows → github.com/microsoft/sudo

There's a really high cost of duplicating code and we're all relearning that everyday with these coding agents. Until they get better at generating reusable code, bugs will run rampant. You can't "abstract it away" with more agents. You just get crappy software....

I’m building a new team to work on Windows apps! You don’t need prior experience with the platform, what matters most is strong product thinking and a deep focus on the customer.

If you’ve built great apps on any platform and care about crafting meaningful user experiences, I’d love to hear from you. Send me your portfolio via DM. If you know someone looking for their next opportunity, feel free to share this with them!

BREAKING: Microsoft just announced several major changes to Windows 11 in an effort to win back user trust and evolve the platform into something people will actually want to use over macOS and Linux! It's a huge announcement that addresses Windows 11's biggest problems today, tackling core fundamental issues such as unreliable system performance, UX consistency, AI bloat and general enshittification. Microsoft has confirmed that this year, it WILL be reducing where ads and Copilot appear throughout the system, including in Start, Widgets, Notepad, Photos, and more! File Explorer and Windows Search will be upgraded with improved performance and capabilities that make finding apps and files much faster and easier. The OS will become lighter with less RAM and system utilization at idle, making it smoother to run on low end hardware with limited memory. These improvements will also benefit high-end PCs too. Windows Update will be improved with more granular controls and the ability to postpone updates for longer, along with reducing how often the OS needs to restart to install an update. Microsoft has also confirmed that it's bringing back fan favourite features such as the ability to move the Taskbar! It's also working to update more areas of the system shell with modern WinUI designs, which should make Windows 11 feel more coherent and complete. There's much more in the announcement, and it honestly all sounds too good to be true. Microsoft really is listening to feedback, and is eager to make Windows the BEST desktop OS on the market. More details including when these changes will arrive in the link! windowscentral.com/microsoft…
