“People said I’m a traitor.”
They’re Arabs who publicly support Israel—and have paid a personal price for it. My latest in @nationalpost featuring @TMasudin @Fatemaal7rbi @JustLuai at a Toronto event organized by @sharakango & @AlliedVoicesIL tinyurl.com/PeaceVoices
It is our responsibility as Arab Muslims to stand together against extremism, especially today. @JustLuai @Fatemaal7rbi @THGAAC

It’s October 7 and I couldn’t
have spent this day doing
anything better than driving to
the middle of nowhere with these
incredible humans to lecture
students who have never heard
about October 7 about
deradicalization, peace, unity,
and a future in Middle East where
division and massacres are a
thing of the past.

🎙️ Meet the Speakers | IMPACT: Emerging Leaders Fellowship 2026
We’re excited to welcome Sharaka (“Partnership” in Arabic) to the 6th edition of IMPACT!
Through people-to-people diplomacy, Sharaka brings together communities across the Middle East, North Africa and beyond, building connections around the Abraham Accords and advancing mutual respect, coexistence and partnerships for peace.
Speakers from Morocco and Bahrain will join our fellows to discuss the Abraham Accords, the relationships they have helped create and what people-to-people engagement can achieve in practice.
The conversation will be moderated by Alyssa Annis, @sharakango’s Director of Educational Programs.
🌍 IMPACT: Emerging Leaders Fellowship, is a joint initiative by B’nai B’rith International and @WUJS_official that gives emerging Jewish leaders the opportunity to engage with experts and build the skills and networks to make an impact in their communities and beyond.
They visited @yadvashem for an educational seminar.
And had the privilege of meeting a Holocaust survivor who shared her personal story and emphasized the importance of our shared responsibility to remember.
Sharaka wishes everyone celebrating a blessed and peaceful Mawlid al-Nabi.
May the blessings and teachings of the Prophet bring light, guidance, and peace to your life and family.
The status quo must be challenged.
Sheikh Musa Drammeh, Chairman of the Muslim Advisory Council, came as a witness and left with a powerful message: Investing in peace is the best investment for a more stable, brighter future for all.

In just a few years, trade between Abraham Accords countries has exploded.
What started as a peace agreement is now creating real economic opportunity across the region.
This serves as a reminder that cooperation can open doors to a more stable and prosperous future.
History is not just something we read about, it is something we must witness, remember, and learn from.
From the Holocaust memorial sites in Poland, Sheikh Mohammad Mehdizade reminds us that understanding history is essential to preventing its repetition.
The lessons of the past belong to all of humanity.
Together, we can build a future rooted in dignity, understanding, and peace.
