Tiffany Hayes announced her retirement in 2023 after her 11th WNBA season, citing a variety of reasons including the wear and tear on her body. Just 5 months later, the Aces convinced her to play again to win a championship, something she had never done. The Aces fell short that season, but she kept going. 37 years old and 413 career regular season games played, the most of any player in WNBA history without winning a title. That streak ends today. Tip Hayes is a champion. Perseverance. #valkyries

NEW: I spent a night out at one of America's top party schools to see how ketamine has taken hold on college campuses.
The drug jumped into the spotlight in the “Cornell 7” case, where Jane Doe told investigators that ketamine left her incapacitated and unable to fend off sexual assault.
At Tulane, students pass it around in plastic baggies at fraternity houses, mix it with cocaine to create “Calvin Klein,” and call the psychedelic effects “going horse mode,” a nod to the drug’s use as a horse tranquilizer.

On this day in 2022, a fat faced tabby was caught in a trap. Scared, hungry, and sick with pneumonia, he spent some time in the ICU. The rest is history, but I like to consider today, his shelter intake date, Fishtopher's "birthday."
