Holy sh*t. Claude Code just found a hidden chip inside my Chinese power bank from Guangzhou. Every time I charged my iPhone, it quietly copied the whole phone…
It also read our saved Wi-Fi password off my iPhone, got onto our home network and sent everything to a server.
I bought it for $19 at an airport kiosk there 3 weeks ago. No brand, 30,000 mAh on the label, and it felt heavy.
The first time I plugged in, the screen asked "Trust This Computer?". I tapped Trust without thinking and went on with my day. That one tap gave it access to everything.
This morning I finally set up Claude Code to warn me when any device starts reading my files. An hour later, 10 seconds into charging, the screen filled with yellow warnings, then red ones: data was moving when it should only be charging.
I asked Claude Code what was going on. My phone saw the power bank as a small computer with 64 GB of storage and its own internet connection.
A USB cable has wires for power and wires for data, and a normal charger only uses the power ones. This one used both, and it had already copied all of this:
→ /device → IMEI and serial number
→ /contacts → 1,206 numbers
→ /apps → every app I have, including my 2 bank apps
→ /photos → 3,912 pictures, my passport among them
→ /wifi → our network name and its key
→ /wife's iPhone → her photos too, she charged from it twice and tapped Trust too
Each time we plugged in, it used that key to get online and send out the new files:
sends to → 47.***.***.12
uploads → 19 in 3 weeks
last one → last night at 2:14, while we slept
I pulled the cable right away. Then Claude Code blocked that address on our router and walked me through changing the Wi-Fi password and the logins for my bank apps.
I had it opened at a repair shop, and what was inside is in the first comment. A 30-second check for your own is in the second one. Save this and test every power bank in your house today.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Appears staged. Claude Code on iPhone is only a remote client and cannot monitor USB or dump data as shown. Account posts similar unverified stories promoting tools. Malicious power banks are a theoretical risk; never tap Trust on unknown devices.

The Kenyan or African expert is the one who excelled in memorising western ideologies. They are completely indoctrinated to the point they can't think rationally think within their own context. Their worldview must be in terms of the west, their own God is from the west.

One category of professional on this continent that I am truly terrified of is the Kenyan Development Expert.
He/She is always the FIRST African to adopt and rationalise anything that comes from the wazungu in suits, no matter how extractive or dystopian.
If the European slave trade resumed today, you can bet your house that there will be a Kenyan Development Expert overseeing the barracoons, using terms like "Supervised Human Talent Relocation" and "Involuntary Personnel Transshipment".
Like his cousins the Nigerian tech founder and the Senegalese NGO director, he has no concept whatsoever of general or localised African interest, and his mental environment is one of the most selfishly, abominably capitalist places on earth.
These guys fill my soul with actual terror. I'm genuinely scared of them.
"Non Revenue Water" fucking hell...

Iangalie ivi. You, who recently fought for joint custody and won, if you had failed to fight for your children custody and simply moved on with your life, do you think that 26 years later when they're all grown, they would want to hear your side of the so called story?

I'm a cardiologist.
Back against the kitchen wall, knees bent, two minutes. Rest. Four times.
In a 100-person randomized trial, doing that 3 days a week for 4 weeks lowered systolic pressure about 9 points more than in people who didn't.
Save this one.
Four weeks of wall squats reduced systolic blood pressure by nearly 10 points in adults with high blood pressure.
Researchers then compared continuing three sessions weekly with reducing to two, one, or none for another month. Systolic pressure remained roughly 7 mmHg below starting levels in the once- and twice-weekly groups. Continuing three sessions weekly produced the greatest reduction of about 14 mmHg. In those who stopped completely, blood pressure moved back toward baseline.
This fits with a previous analysis of randomized trials that identified isometric exercise, which involves holding a muscle contraction, as an effective way to lower resting blood pressure.
What interests me is the practical question - how much of an exercise benefit can we preserve when we temporarily have less time? This study suggests that reducing the frequency can retain part of the benefit for up to a month.

Za bramą Trybunału Konstytucyjnego zaparkował policyjny pickup z charakterystyczną konstrukcją na pace. To system LRAD-500X.
Zauważył to i opisał Kanał Zero.
LRAD produkuje amerykańska firma Genasys. To broń soniczna służąca do kontroli tłumu. Emituje dźwięk o natężeniu do 160 decybeli w skupionej wiązce, słyszalny nawet z pięciu kilometrów.
Próg bólu to 120.
Oni łamią konstytucje i ustawy. Nie wiemy do czego są w stanie jeszcze się posunąć!
