Drafting into lambing paddocks.
Ignore the wire, duct tape & cables; it’s just how us farmers roll.😁

🐑 WHO’S DOING THE HEAVY LIFTING IN YOUR BREEDING FLOCK? 🏋️♂️
There’s a big difference between the performers and the passengers in your ewe flock!
📊 AWI’s Picking Performer Ewes workshop highlights the difference. Over four lambing attempts:
🐑 Passenger ewes rear an average of 1.2 lambs.
🐑 Performer ewes rear an average of 5.6 lambs.
And passengers cut just 0.15 kg more clean fleece wool per year!
📝 At your next 'staff' (sheep) performance review, make sure you are holding your breeding ewes accountable!
Are they bringing lambs to the marking cradle, every year?

Mr 17 thinks that the Telsa bot we get to replace him in the yards will be able to directly control it.
Now, he's wondering how often he'll have to grease it.
Now, very concerned where they'll place the grease nipples🤔

Bringing the good rams into the yards today.
1 of the rams had a brown stick stuck on its side🤔 Then my brain made sense of what I was seeing.
This brown snake was hanging of the side of 1 of best rams! Hasn't dropped dead yet, hopefully saved by 4 inches of wool.
This ewe went down pre-lambing & the crow's found her first. She's now missing 1 eye & partially blind in the other. Managed to get her back on her feet.
Now leaving a bread crumb trail of wool every where she has been.
Early morning checking lambing ewes.
