We’re sharing this story in hopes that social media can help reunite a family with something incredibly meaningful.
Michael traveled to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 2021, where his life tragically ended following a bicycle accident. According to his brother, shortly before Michael’s death, he had given him the Dean acoustic guitar pictured here.
Now, years later, his family is hoping to find it.
🔎 WHAT TO LOOK FOR: A black Dean-brand acoustic guitar — although it may appear blue in photos. One particularly identifiable feature is that the guitar had a hole/damage in the back, which is why it was originally purchased at a discount online.
The family is asking anyone who may have the guitar, remembers seeing it, or has information about where Michael's belongings ended up after the 2021 accident to reach out to Bobby Rasch, who made the original post.
Even if finding it seems like a long shot, sometimes the right person sees the right post. Please share, especially throughout the Sioux Falls area. ❤️

Randi Lou Marshall (previously Bad Wound), also known as “Brandi,” age 26, has been reported missing.
Randi’s family last had contact with her at approximately 4:35 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026. Shortly before that, she sent her family a photo showing that she was at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital. Her family says she was not admitted to the hospital.
Randi told her family she was planning to travel from Rapid City to Custer, where she said she had found a sober-living apartment and planned to move in. She told them she would video call once she arrived.
That call never came.
Randi stopped responding to her family after 4:35 p.m. Friday. Her family says they normally hear from her every day or every other day through their family group chat, making this lack of contact concerning.

Deren was last seen around 8 PM leaving the Angostura Dam area near Hot Springs, South Dakota, driving a 2004 black Chevy Impala with SD license plate 27Z386. His cell phone is turned off.
Deren is approximately 5'7", 131 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and black-and-white Nike shoes.
Please pay close attention to the vehicle and license plate. By now, he could be well outside the immediate Hot Springs area, so please share throughout South Dakota, Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, and surrounding areas.

I’m not a parent but I hold a bigger role in my family as the oldest of 3 younger brothers. Ever since my mom began having issues with her health over 3 years ago she lost the ability to walk and drive. Shes literally in her 50’s! And here’s an out of character rant for me on this app for all the parents or educators on this app.
Every year since she became dependent of a wheelchair, without fail, we run into major problems with transportation. My parents home is juuuuuuust close enough they can’t provide a bus transport and somehow DMPS simply has ZERO solutions, resources, community organizations or hardly the general sympathy on the core issue of helping with consistent, safe and reliable transportation for my 12 year old brother. You’d think that would be something they can help with? They are the largest school district!
But nahhh! The only answer is that the 12 year old can take a public bus alone or he can walk. Am I crazy to think it’s insane to want a 12 year old to walk 30 minutes one way, alone, to school in the Downtown area?
Idc what we were all doing in our small towns or how old we were when grandpa let us get behind the wheel on the farm. I know many people like to bring up what they did back in their day and how kids are soft. But we’re talking about just general transportation for a family with no family in the state, very few family friends and navigating a very nuanced situation.
Even if we thought it could be safe for him to walk, he doesn’t feel comfortable doing that because he’s literally 12? How do we have school attendance laws but then have a concrete wall for those who might need additional support?
I wouldn’t even walk that myself to work everyday and im 31. Majority of adults aren’t walking that to their job. I can’t imagine being a true parent navigating childcare in general. I don’t even know how working parents do it just with the overlapping of hours because I can barely manage as an eldest daughter.
Especially in this economy! A very frustrating situation because of circumstances we could’ve never prepared for. Frustrated with the school system because I wish no kids had to be worried about school transportation. My poor mom who has been a stay at home mom her whole life cause it was important for them all of us kids always relied on her and not strangers. This is draining. An issue I never imagined navigating.
If anyone has made it this far in my rant and has any advice, please send it my way. 💛 otherwise thanks for reading my rant. Signed a frustrated eldest daughter.

The Rapid City Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating 13-year-old Royce Clifford.
Royce was reported missing at approximately 11:40 p.m. last night. Police say they have checked numerous locations in an effort to locate him.
He was last seen at approximately 8:00 a.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of Holcomb Avenue.

Stanley Little Thunder, 63, is missing and was believed to be traveling back to South Dakota on the following bus route between July 30 and August 1, 2026:
Las Vegas, NV → Denver, CO → Omaha, NE → Sioux Falls, SD → Vivian, SD
A family member confirmed seeing Stanley in Denver, where they brought him food. There have been no confirmed sightings since that time. He did not arrive in Vivian.
If you traveled any part of this route or were at one of these bus stations, please take a moment to think back. Even a small detail could help investigators establish Stanley's movements.

Thirteen-year-old Scarlet Anderson has been missing since Sunday, July 26, 2026, law enforcement is actively searching for her.
According to available information, Scarlet left her home at approximately 5:10 p.m., telling her sister she was going for a walk until she felt better. (Mentally) She was on the phone at the time and indicated that her phone battery was about to die. Family has not heard from her and attemps to reach her have been unsuccessful.
Known Timeline:
• Sunday, July 26 – Approximately 6:00 p.m.: Scarlet was reportedly seen at the Corner Pantry on Fairmont Street, where she asked to use the store's phone.
• Monday, July 27 – Approximately 8:00 p.m.: Store employees stated Scarlet returned to the Corner Pantry. They reported she was curled up on the floor near the coolers.
Employees told her her family was looking for her. She used the restroom, got two suckers and a fountain drink, and then left.
Her phone has been off, but there was reportedly a phone ping in the Robbinsdale Heights Apartments area.

🚨 LONG TERM MISSING CHILD – PLEASE SHARE 🚨
On May 29, 1994, 5-year-old Lyle Hunter Long Warrior Jr. disappeared near the Missouri River by the railroad bridge in Pierre, South Dakota. More than three decades later, his family is still searching for answers.
Lyle was an enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. Extensive searches were conducted at the time, including dive teams, law enforcement, and community volunteers, but Lyle was never found.
Recently, Lyle's sister shared additional information that raises important questions:
"This is my brother. More context to the story. He was lured to the river by two 12-year-old boys. The boys know what happened but have not told the family. We want answers too."
For 32 years, Lyle's family has lived without knowing what happened to their little boy. Someone may still hold information that could finally bring truth and closure.
If you were in Pierre in 1994, knew the individuals involved, heard conversations over the years, or have any information—no matter how small it may seem—please come forward.
