I built a little game for my kids called CATEQUEST—a retro-style catechism adventure where you fight monsters, explore, and (hopefully) learn some theology along the way.
It’s live and free to play. 🐉⚔️
I had way too much fun building this.

Martin Bucer’s 'Concerning the True Care of Souls' is essential reading for pastors, counselors, and church leaders. It is one I have reread multiple times over the years and just recommended it again today a.co/d/0dIDFpuQ

Looking forward to talking about this on a future episode. We will be sitting down with the designer of this software to give us a special insider tour.
Keeping your church members in your head works until it doesn't. Shepherding Tools gives your session one shared record: who's been visited, who hasn't, who's next. No one slips through the cracks.
Point each elder at his district and start this week.

I understand this well…
“I find this great change in my pastoral experience: I am more concerned about the quality of religion in my flock, than when I was young. Sometimes I am almost as glad to observe a ripening, as once to observe a conversion.”—JW Alexander

Pastors, the day is done. You can’t change anything. But that’s alright. Jesus will use your faithful efforts however he chooses.
So, rest tonight. Trust Him. Sleep well.
And let go.

Church members rarely see how hard Ruling Elders and Deacons work during the week.
Early mornings and late nights (away from family) are not that rare the officers of @RedeemerSP.
Praise God for the work of faithful men who care for the saints.

Church attenders: how often do you expect to receive a pastoral visit or call from your pastor or elder ordinarily (outside of a crisis situation)?

He will not cry aloud or lift up His voice, or make it heard in the street; a bruised reed He will not break, and a faintly burning wick He will not quench; He will faithfully bring forth justice.
