People's humanity is so much more important than their political affiliation, and no, they don't necessarily go hand in hand

A tragic combination of power lust, fear, and gullibility within the Church has not, in fact, led us to the promised land, but into a foul gutter. We need no man to obtain what the blood of Christ has won. It is sinful that there is not a mass exodus from this blasphemous wretch.

Vance admitted in 2024 that he is happy to make up stories to get media attention.
A truly sick, dishonest, racist individual. I hope his biracial kids grow up to be ashamed of their Nazi-leaning dad.

Last night Trump said he could have won Vietnam in a week. His plan was “going after Ho Chi Minh City.”
Ho Chi Minh City was Saigon, the capital of South Vietnam. Our ally. The enemy’s capital was Hanoi. We bombed it.
He called the presidents who fought that war stupid, then explained how he’d have won it by attacking our own side.
58,220 Americans died in that war. Trump got five deferments. Now he’s telling the rest of us how easy it would have been.
He’s had more than fifty years to learn which side we were on. He still hasn’t. That alone should disqualify him from sending anybody else’s kids to war.
Instead, he’s weighing more strikes on Iran after Tuesday. His administration has reportedly considered using the “mother of all bombs,” the one he calls “like a tiny nuclear bomb.”
The man who thinks we should have bombed our ally’s capital gets to choose the targets.

Trying to think of the media response of Biden had confused Ho Chi Minh City with Hanoi.
Trump:
I could have won the Vietnam War in a week.
They kept bombing forests for years instead of going after Ho Chi Minh City.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Ho Chi Minh City was called Saigon during the war. It was the capital of South Vietnam, the US ally, and was renamed only in 1976. The US did repeatedly bomb North Vietnam's capital, Hanoi, including the 1972 Christmas bombing.

This remains the most demented, insane, deranged, nonsensical lie he tells. Over and over and over and over. Just batshit crazy lunacy.
As if that wasn’t insane enough, he says he won Minnesota in 2016, 2020 and 2024. HE LOST ALL THREE TIMES. So mentally unwell its incredible.
Trump: "Think of it. Your beautiful son leaves the house. His name is Tim. 'Goodbye Tim, I'll see you later.' 'Thank you, mommy, thank you.' And you don't see Tim for four days. Four days later, Tim comes back as Sally. Okay? It's true. We have states that are allowed to do that. A place called Minnesota. I won it 3 times."

4 away games we failed to win last season, all within our opening 9 games this season
We’ve won all 4, without conceding a goal.
Exceptional.

That’s why they’re champions - and favourites to go back-to-back. Arsenal organised and unyielding, took their chance well, led well by Odegaard and defended exceptionally well, Konsa outstanding. Got lucky when ref/var didn’t react to Timber’s shirt-pull on Isak, clear pen not given. Game management, occasional time-wasting. Good changes by Arteta, drawing on #AFC strength in depth. Big win, back top. #LIVARS

We're in a test golden era: very clearly the best rugby and cricket test teams in the world, ar the same time. I spent the first four decades of my life daydreaming about a world in which this might be possible.
