There's a new intercontinental data pathway between Geneva and Seoul—a post-quantum one. The data that traverses it—ours.
This pathway is part of a multi-layered post-quantum security connection between our offices in Switzerland and South Korea. It's a model for governments and enterprises the world over.
Financial loss. Damage to critical infrastructure. Reputational harm. Toppled stability. Without quantum-level security, many pitfalls lie ahead.
But our hybrid solution, which leverages both quantum key distribution (#QKD) and post-quantum cryptography (#PQC), points the way to quantum-level security.

We've received $7.5 million in follow-on funding from the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), reflecting the strength of our partnership and the value of our full-stack approach.
The Phase 2 contract with AFRL expands upon the first-generation quantum network we previously delivered in Rome, New York, adding advanced optical, hardware, and software layers for real-world deployment.
“We are building quantum networking that runs on standard telecom infrastructure and through open air, and proving it on a live network,” said @jordan_shapiro, IonQ President, Quantum Platform.

Quantinuum and @GEVernova's Advanced Research Center are teaming up to explore that challenge with quantum computing.
The collaboration combines access to our Helios quantum computer and full-stack capabilities with GE Vernova’s materials science and industrial expertise to study how interacting electrons give rise to superconductivity.

From quantum compilation to algorithmic efficiency, MQSF in Munich featured two days of fantastic discussions around what it takes to build a utility-scale quantum software stack.
A highlight was Josh Izaac's talk, "Python in the Front, Party in the Backline," which shared how Backline enables low-latency compilation and execution for intertwined quantum-classical workloads directly from Python.
Huge thanks to the organizers at MQSC, Munich Quantum Valley, and the Chair for Design Automation at @TU_Muenchen for bringing the ecosystem together. Looking forward to the next one!

D-Wave’s latest research brings programmable quantum simulation into three dimensions, an important capability for studying real materials. In a recent preprint, our researchers and collaborators used up to 728 qubits on an Advantage2 annealing quantum computer to realize topological insulators in one, two and three dimensions. To our knowledge, these are the first programmable quantum dynamics experiments of this kind in three dimensions. By combining analog-digital controls with hundreds of qubits, our team is developing powerful new tools for investigating quantum materials. $QBTS #quantumcomputing
