On behalf of Canadians, I wish Pope Leo XIV a full and swift recovery following his successful surgery.
His Holiness is a source of hope and inspiration for billions around the world. His message of unity and compassion reminds us of the strength we can offer one another in moments of uncertainty.
As he recovers, may he draw strength from the prayers of those whose lives he has touched, just as so many draw strength from him.

Eric, you stepped up and conducted yourself with drive, passion and purpose. I know that won’t change and I know it’s given Liberals a lot to think about.
As you said, we both see the opportunities ahead for Ontario and the Liberal Party, even if we don’t agree on everything. Building a stronger economy, giving young people the best start, and not being content doing the same old conventional politics the same old way. To deliver change to Ontario, and get the Liberals back on the field, it’s going to take all of us at our best working together.
I’m grateful for your endorsement and your support. I’m looking forward to your policy advice especially on the economy, housing and infrastructure. Change is coming to Ontario and together with Liberals across the province, we are ready for the fight.

Today I am ending my campaign.
I am grateful to everyone who shared our belief that Ontario Can Still Win. This is just the end of the beginning.
I am also proud to endorse Lee Fairclough (@LFairclo) for Ontario Liberal Leader and Premier of Ontario.

Tsawwassen First Nation is in our hearts today. To lose two beloved elders — in such a terrifying accident and on a day already so heavy with grief — is devastating.
My thoughts are with the loved ones of those who died, those who were injured, and the entire community who are in grief and shock.

One of the most encouraging parts of this race has been seeing new people get involved in our party and bring fresh ideas to the table.
With my colleague and good friend Ted Hsu, Queen’s Young Liberals and the Kingston and the Islands PLA, we had a great conversation about how we continue building a stronger Ontario Liberal Party to turn the page on the Conservative government.
A special thank you to Ted and to PLA President Shawn Nicholson for hosting and organizing such a great evening.

My thoughts are with everyone in Eastern Nova Scotia and on Cape Breton Island affected by the heavy rain and severe flooding.
Thank you to the first responders who are working around the clock to keep people safe. Our government is in close communication with the provincial government and remains ready to provide any support needed.

The feeling of losing my Aunt Dolly is beyond what feels right to share. Our most sacred moments were private and they’ll stay there behind the stage, beneath the glamour & between our hearts.
What I KNOW is Dolly would want me to feel it, write a song about it, and then continue on and be strong. I have an angel by my side. I always have. One of our last conversations was about music and metamorphosis. 🦋
I will always love her and want to make her proud. My heart breaks for the world, her family and friends who will miss her deeply. We’re in this loss together and we will see her in all of the most beautiful things. 💖 @dollyparton
