🔥🔥🔥 4.24 MILLION GME.WS warrants reported short as of October 15th.
Fast-forward to October 28th.
Nearly 4.9 MILLION warrants traded, the price jumped 34.6%, and borrowing costs reached 2,323.75% earlier in the day.
Good grief. 🤪
At 3:30 PM, the borrow fee was 2,123.25%, with ZERO shares available from the reporting lender.
Even after dropping from the morning peak, borrowing remained ridiculously expensive.
And the reported short interest had only fallen 1.42% between September 30th and October 15th.
October 29th is the final scheduled NYSE trading day. Expiration hits October 30th at 5 PM ET.
Shorts aren't automatically forced to cover just because warrants expire, but broker recalls and risk limits can change the equation.

The credit cycle has turned.
Valuations remain extreme.
Demographics are deteriorating.
History suggests the most painful phase of a bubble often arrives AFTER the initial decline, when confidence finally gives way to forced selling and deleveraging.

If $GME drops the warrant strike from $32 to $10, the warrants instantly go deep in-the-money.
That’s a massive gift to every holder — free intrinsic value of ~$13–14 per warrant with the stock near $23–24.
Exercise would explode, cash would flood into GameStop, and the already sky-high borrow rate on the warrants would crush anyone short them.
Price action on both the warrants and the stock would turn violent almost immediately.
Have a plan ready. This kind of move has never been done at this scale.

Dividing that figure by one million produces a number that closely matches $GME real market cap of roughly $11.8 billion.
This points to a persistent scaling or unit-conversion error in the data feed or frontend display. The page also shows multiple other fields as n/a, reinforcing that the instrument data is incomplete or mishandled.
Whether the root cause sits with the data provider or the platform itself remains unclear but the discrepancy has stayed visible long enough that it is no longer a transient glitch.
