Tokenised secondaries - a solution in waiting for family offices? linkedin.com/posts/alexander…?

Every person I interview these days - I ask them what they’ve built with AI. It doesn’t matter what role or function or department - an AI builder will be able to think with a systems view as opposed to a task view.
My presumption is people who can build systems with AI will easily outpace those who only use AI for prompting and querying. And I expect that differential to expand over time.
I ask them what they’ve built, why they built it, what design decisions they made, how the system learns, what aspects of the system are agentic, what problems they ran into, how they solved them, what the tech stack is and why, what their roadmap is, etc…
It applies to every role, function, and department. Building with AI is a super power available to all, but those who have discovered it early will increasingly separate.
UK: FS26/1 clarifies which elements of a tokenisation strategy can move forward now and which await further guidance. Palvinder Gill outlines pragmatic next steps for founders & highlights areas of regulatory certainty and uncertainty, and what next.

$NXH MC $281M with the stake they have in what @Alan_Konevsky is unleashing at tZERO.com is something... IP alone is extremely valuable and being seriously overlooked.
Hate to sound redundant, but this is so damn exciting - thrilled to have our infrastructure power @Lynq_Network and the new @GoldmanSachs fund product on the platform. @tZERO occupies a unique place in the tokenization economy - as connective tissue for both traditional market participants and crypto/DeFi players, each of which converges on a common need for rails to access the expanding world of tokenized assets beyond crypto. Here, the tokenized ecosystem, led by @JeraldDavid44, we built with our partners at @tassatgroup and @arca , with the @avax based tech layer, presents a unique home for a very significant conventional Goldman Sachs cash product inside a tokenized settlement and treasury management platform. As we flex our end-to-end tokenized securities rails - and prepare to deploy infrastructure-as-a-service platform for tokenized/conventional derivatives, prediction markets and spot crypto - we stand to support the broadest and deepest range of operational, regulatory, intellectual property and technological needs for tokenized financial services. Unmatched in the industry. Thank you to our partners across the spectrum (known and those to come) and the @tzero team and investors I am fortunate to work for.

The golden rule for tokenised equity and EIS: sell possibility, not certainty.
Four structuring options, the risk to capital test, and where HMRC guidance still falls short.

🚨The UK just took a HUGE step toward becoming a regulated crypto hub. 🇬🇧
The FCA has finalised rules covering stablecoins, exchanges, custody and staking, giving crypto firms a clearer path to operate.
Regulatory clarity is turning crypto into a mainstream financial industry. $HBAR $XRP $XLM $ALGO $LINK

Today, the UK FCA finalized its crypto regulatory perimeter, with applications opening September 30.
The timing is notable: the U.S. Senate failed to advance the CLARITY Act yesterday. While U.S. market structure legislation remains stalled, the UK is moving toward implementation.
Trading platforms, custody, stablecoin issuance, dealing, arranging and staking will fall under FCA authorization when the new regime takes effect October 25, 2027.
Public respondents included Digital Asset (Canton), Solana Research Institute, Circle, Fireblocks, Franklin Templeton, BNY and others.
London is ready 🇬🇧
Our Spanish subsidiary, Archax Markets Europe, S.V., S.A., has received CNMV approval for Reception and Transmission of Orders, Execution, Allocation, Custody and Advisory services, adding to our existing permissions there.
We can now serve professional and eligible counterparty clients across the EU and EEA region. These new permissions sit alongside our existing regulatory permissions in the UK (FCA) and US (SEC/FINRA).

They are alongside some HUGE names such as BlackRock, Nasdaq, HSBC, PwC and other financial giants.
The companies building crypto infrastructure are now sitting in the same regulatory conversation as the biggest institutions in global finance.
So much positive news out the UK at the minute as they prepare to take tokenised markets to scale. $XRP $LINK $HBAR

The London Stock Exchange will put its 100 biggest stocks onchain, with Kraken's parent company Payward.
In the coming weeks, the FTSE 100 will become xStocks. These are tokens backed 1:1 by real shares, trading 24/7 on exchanges, in self-custody wallets and across onchain apps in 110+ countries.
(Except the UK. Brits can't buy them yet. The FTSE, tokenized for everyone but Britain. That's because xStocks are issued by Backed Assets (JE) Limited, a Jersey company, and offered to Kraken clients via Payward Digital Solutions Ltd, which is licensed in Bermuda. They are not stocks, they're offshore unregulated instruments as far as the FCA is concerned)
xStocks is a product created by the Kraken parent Payward that turns regular stocks into tokens, and lets them trade onchain. xStocks did $40bn of volume in just over a year with nearly $20bn settled onchain to over 200,000+ holders.
The UK could get proper stock tokens soon. The LSE plans to list them on LSE 24, its new 24-hour venue. LSE and Kraken will explore shares issued natively onchain, with the same rights as traditional stock.
Tokenized stocks are coming globally, but there's nuances here.
In December, the SEC cleared DTCC to tokenize assets it already custodies. Approved wallets only. Sanctions screened. DTC keeps the power to mint, burn or forcibly move any token.
But that token stays inside the vault. The LSE version puts the token in your wallet. And native issuance asks whether the chain can be the register itself.
That's a completely different market structure.
London spent a decade losing listings to New York.
Competing on plumbing might be the fight it can actually win?
