I can name 7 of the England players. I don’t think I realised just how much my interest in football has diminished over the years! 😂
Also one of my favourites. Absolute genius. I still call everyone called Charlie ‘Charles Charlie Charles’ to this day 😂
May the good Lord forgive me, but I'm going with another Association Football sketch this morning, and this one's my absolute favourite.
It might not feature international Association Football, but Harry Enfield's gloriously glorious sketch involving a 1930's Arsenal team (featuring their captain, Charles "Charlie" Charles), taking on the 1991 Liverpool team - in black and white - is a thing of genuine comedic beauty.

Week 1 at the crucible done. Watched some super #snooker over 10 sessions, joined by some great mates for some of them. Also cool to have time to explore the fine city of #sheffield properly. 4 rows back for Ronnie was a bit special 👌Back for a semi-final session in a week.
Cracking day in Sheffield. Saw two great sessions of snooker @crucibletheatre bumped into a legend, and visited the best real ale pub in the region
Superb few days in Sheffield at the world qualifiers & media day. Seen some great snooker & lucky enough to bump into a number of legends (8 ex. World champions at last count, plus Jimmy 😂). Love this annual trip & looking forward to 9 sessions at the main event next week.
I’ve seen this script so many times. James Wade plays great till the final then doesn’t turn up. Littler a very easy win. TBH #darts needs more different winners (like snooker) but Littler wins games now just due to his reputation. @OfficialPDC #UKOpenDarts
I’ve enjoyed the #WelshOpen #welshopensnooker albeit only on @BBCiPlayer for some reason 🤷 Firstly how the hell does @BBCSnooker choose its’ commentators (Dom Dale, Lee Walker 😳🤦♂️) and also another tournament where the pockets have become so generous it’s laughable.
Whoever @Channel5Sport thought ‘refcam’ would add something for the TV #Snooker viewer was seriously misguided. The phrase ‘what’s the point’ comes to mind. 🤷🤦♂️ #PlayersChampionship

I am not even two chapters into one of my holiday books - ‘The Conspiracy Tourist’ by @domjoly - and the author has endeared himself to me hugely. He dislikes Xmas, and clearly loathes both Jim Davidson & Jeremy Clarkson. It’s a cracking and funny read too 👍
