I sat down with fmr. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, to get his insight on the political dynamics at play.
His read on the numbers: Netanyahu’s bloc sits at 53 seats. He needs 61. The opposition bloc of 67 is united against recommending him.
Eisenkot’s only viable path to government runs through the Arab parties, who just hit a historic 19 seats.
On Israel today versus 20 years ago under his leadership:
“We were healthier, more responsible, more humble.”

There are many uniquely bizarre aspects to the US/Israel relationship but the most bizarre is how relfexively pro-Israel Americans will side with that *foreign country* even when they attack, beat, persecute or kill their own fellow Americans.

She announces her resignation in public, with a bandage right in the middle of her face. The camera slowly zooms in for a close-up. Her fingernails are painted black, and her demeanor is unmistakably that of someone who was obligated to make this video.
The whole thing feels like a humiliation ritual through and through, and a message to other minions occupying positions of global and regional power.
Nothing about this is normal or spontaneous. Quite the opposite.

Binance has begun recovering affected assets for users and continues to work with law enforcement, issuers, blockchain intelligence firms and industry partners to trace, freeze and recover additional funds.
The company has already publicly committed to cover losses through company funds in the prior announcement.
Binance has already reserved over $6.34B of company funds to cover this incident. $5B of these funds are already held in the exact token assets that were impacted. We are completing the purchase of the remaining amount by buying token assets through market channels and OTC channels. We are doing this to match the format of the remaining token assets and address any asset shortfalls. This step can take longer because some tokens may have low liquidity and OTC settlement also takes time. We will share more progress as soon as we can.
These figures do not include frozen or protected assets, which remain subject to ongoing recovery and verification. Currently, $3bn has been frozen, with thanks to our industry partners. We are working with partners and law enforcement to recover the frozen assets.We will continue to use company resources to cover confirmed shortfall and will provide further verified updates as recovery efforts progress. Ultimately, all user funds will be verified publicly through our Proof of Reserves.

Today, Tucker Carlson posted unreleased CCTV of an American citizen beaten almost to death by masked Israeli settlers last week. The victim’s family won’t go public because they fear for their lives.
Tucker says the man went to the US ambassador to Israel for help, and got blown off.
That ambassador is Mike Huckabee. The guy who said there’s “no such thing as the West Bank.”
Huckabee will fly across the world to bless a genocidal illegal settlement but won’t make time for an American those settlers beat half to death.

Patrick Stewart, who died today at 86, became Professor X and Captain Picard. As a boy, he watched his father beat his mother, and heard the doctors who came to help tell her it was her own fault.
In the video below, a woman thanks him for helping her survive her own abuse, and his answer brings the whole room to its feet.
He grew up in a poor mill town in England. His father came home from World War II a different man and turned his violence on Patrick's mother.
Every time the doctors and ambulance men came, they told her she must have provoked him, that it takes two to make an argument.
Decades later, Stewart learned from his father's war records that he had been suffering from severe shell shock that was never treated.
So he spent the rest of his life working for two charities: one for abused women, in his mother's name, and one for traumatized soldiers, in his father's.
He could have spent his life hating his father. Instead, he spent it helping others. Is that the kind of legacy that matters more than fame?
