“Georgia Without Ivanishvili” march.
Tomorrow, October 26, marks 2 years since the Georgian Dream rigged the 2024 Parliamentary elections, and eventually unleashed hell on Georgians.
People keep protesting ever since then, and daily since November 28, 2024 (it’s Day 697 today).
Two important points:
It's crystal clear that dissatisfaction grows increasingly, but there needs to be a more tangible power to accumulate and channel the sentiments politically;
(In this regard, it is noteworthy that today's big rally was announced by the Opposition Alliance formed in March. The Alliance aims for an even bigger rally on November 28, the two-year anniversary of the Georgian Dream's suspension of EU integration, daily protests, and torture of protesters);
The refusal of the Georgian public and opposition to grant legitimacy to the Georgian Dream, which was achieved through non-cooperation, boycotts, and institutional isolation, might eventually prove decisive in the Georgian people's fight for freedom, in terms of international law and geopolitical camps in Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

EXCLUSIVE: “Heaven forbid, if we lose this majority or whatever, I don't know what my next chapter of life is,” says SPEAKER JOHNSON as he opens up to me about the midterms. “If God moves on our hearts and says we should, you know, go back to my hometown of Shreveport and start a lawn business, I'll do that with equal fervor. I mean, I just want to be of my highest and best use.. to God and to my country.”

President Trump signed an Executive Order right here in Nebraska to lower diesel costs for American farmers, truckers, and workers.
By expanding access to red-dyed diesel and providing federal tax relief, President Trump is once again taking decisive action to put money back in the pockets of hardworking Americans.
Promises made. Promises kept.

Hey @grok - is it accurate to say “Joe Biden removed the press credentials from over 400 different agencies” as @SteveScalise said this morning on This Week?

JD Vance, who is delivering the keynote address at the GOP midterm convention on Thursday, is expected to share deeply personal stories when he takes the stage tonight, including reflecting on the death of his friend Charlie Kirk a year ago to the day as well as the birth of his fourth child a person familiar with his planned remarks tell me.
Vance similarly used the 2024 RNC convention to try and give voters a closer look at his life, detailing his upbringing in a struggling steel town and the hardships of his family life.

Haberman: His attacks on female reporters have gotten much nastier. He's been calling me a hag, the least attractive, whatever, who cares?
Amanpour: Explain why the rest of the press corps doesn't believe in attack on one is an attack on all? Ask that person's question until it is answered.
Haberman: They've taken control of the press pool. They pick the outlets that go in. There's a lot of new media, influencers and trump supporters. Katlan will ask a tough question and the follow up from friendly media will be Mr. Trump how are you so handsome.

Maggie Haberman spent an hour with him in the Oval Office in March and came away with a number. Seventy percent of his mind share, by her estimate, goes to the renovations. The ballroom. The arch. He interrupted an unrelated meeting to call Emmanuel Macron and ask what it is like to stand under the actual Arc de Triomphe, whether it has a visitor's desk, whether people jump off it. Someone had asked him what should go on top of his own version. He was deciding between that and a giant gold cast of his own fist from Butler.
Meanwhile nobody around him seems fully certain he understands how depleted American munitions are after this war he started with Iran, a live open question from a reporter who has covered him for a decade.
There is no policy agenda left, by Haberman's own account. No immigration bill in the works, no legislative program, nothing beyond retribution and construction. He is not governing a country right now so much as decorating a legacy he has already decided he deserves.
There is no one in the world who better understands what makes Donald Trump tick than @maggieNYT. This is a must-listen nytimes.com/2026/07/31/opini…

🚨Luis de la Fuente on what President Donald Trump said to him while presenting his World Cup gold medal.
🎙️ Reporter: “Luis, there were cameras everywhere when Donald Trump handed you your gold medal. Did he say anything to you?”
🗣️ Luis de la Fuente: “Yes, he did. He congratulated me on winning the World Cup and told me Spain deserved it after the tournament we had.
“Then he smiled and joked that maybe he should hire me to coach the United States men’s national team so I could help lead them to their first World Cup trophy. I laughed and thanked him for the compliment.
“I told him I was honoured to hear that, but my heart is with Spain. Coaching this national team is one of the greatest privileges of my career, and after becoming world champions, I couldn’t ask for anything more.
“It was a nice conversation and a respectful exchange. Moments like these are part of football. You meet people from all over the world who appreciate what your team has achieved.
“Of course, hearing someone say they would trust you to lead their country to a World Cup is flattering, but my full focus is on continuing this journey with Spain and building on what we’ve accomplished.”
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The quotes attributed to Luis de la Fuente in this post are fabricated. In the attached video, Spain's coach is actually discussing the Finalissima and his team's opponents; he makes no mention of Donald Trump, medals, or coaching the US national team. video.twimg.com/amplify_video/…
