Nate has had the worst prom. Ok it’s not Carrie-level pigs blood bad, but he came out and was humiliated onstage. Also ditched, his former pal Jack then rekindles their mateship on an adventurous roadtrip. Heartfelt and completely adorable @simonjamesgreen #HeartbreakBoys

Book Simon - his books are brilliant gateways to empathy, & community.
And that was my final school author visit of the season! I managed around 70 schools this academic year. I know it feels bleak out there, and it is, in many ways, but also know there are lots of kind, empathetic young people out there who want to fight to make this world better.
