Holy macaroni, a few hours ago I wouldn't have thought it's possible. Running omarchy quattro on my pinephone. It's beautiful. All the basics are working: touch, wlan, mic, bluetooth.. just needs tons of UI optimizations @dhh
19 apps in the Omalauncher app store so far. Download one and ask your agent to modify it any way you want, same concept as widgets
My first-ever Omarchy widget for Omalauncher is published; definitely not the last.
OmaGit : an Omarchy-native Git client. Beautiful, native, and fast.
Huge thanks to @simonschubert 🙌
And if you're on Android and haven’t tried Omalauncher yet, you should 🙌

Getting my hands dirty in Omalauncher .
Ported Mt ⚡ SUPER DESKTOP to it's widget (custom launcher).
Feels JUST WHAT I WANTED my SD client to be. @simonschubert did tremendous job here
Love the Omarchy community, 121 widgets published in one week, likely thousands more for personal use

You are on fire 🔥 incredible to see running Omalauncher widgets cross platform
Omandroid has a new name: Omarchy Mobile 📱
It was never Android. It's native Omarchy (Arch Linux ARM, Hyprland, Omarchy's own packages) on a mainline Linux kernel, right on a Pixel 7 Pro. No Android underneath.
New repos (old links redirect):
github.com/derekross/omarchy…
github.com/derekross/linux-o…
Hardware: display at 120 Hz, GPU, touch, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth audio, battery, haptics, torch, sensors and auto-rotate, GPS, NFC (read/write tags) and fingerprint unlock (opt-in) all work. Speakers work but are still quiet. Ultrawide camera works; main and front are in progress. The modem now boots and talks to the phone; calls, SMS and data need a SIM, that's next. Sleep is in progress.
The last two days in software:
• swipeable home screens with ~50 built-in widgets, from @simonschubert's Omalauncher
• "Create with AI": describe a widget, Omarchy's default agent builds it
• editable quick settings
• one app per screen
• mirror the phone's screen to your laptop over USB
And an installer! I'm super happy to annonce this. It can all be done with a few commands. GUI/website later. Build the root image on your laptop, then tools/install-phone asks for your user name, password and Wi-Fi, checks the phone, and writes only slot B and userdata. Stock Android stays on slot A as your way back. First boot sets everything up, and tools/phone-provision pulls the phone-specific firmware from your own Pixel factory image (no Google files redistributed). The first clean install with it is happening on my phone as I write this. Steps are in the README.
Fair warning: this is EXPERIMENTAL! Unlocking the bootloader wipes the phone, expect rough edges, Pixel 7 Pro only for now. Pixel 6 and 8a ports are starting via contributors. Addtional contributors welcome 🤙
🔥burn the tokens. Incredibly satisfying to watch
Built an automated token burning tic tac toe simulation on Omalauncher by @simonschubert is so fun.
Watching tokens burnt and they ends up draw every games lol. 😂
BTW: I sparked a lot of ideas on Omalauncher while playing with it. It’s not only for entertaining but productivity can be boosted too. This is crazy!
🔥 I think that's the coolest widget I have seen so far, is it even topable?
Omalauncher is now open source, with a fresh update version 0.4.0 that lets you easily share your agentic created apps/widgets via QR code. Please share your best work, I want to see them all
Omalauncher: agent friendly and fast omarchy arch Linux launcher for your stock android phone. Native Claude Code and Grok Build integration lets you build your own phone apps right from your phone, while keeping all your existing apps, such as banking apps @dhh
Replying to @simonschubert @dhh
version 0.1.2, with better landscape and linux apps via android activities support, is live
"App Finder" for Omarchy, so far 176 apps (27 are my own), with focus on small screen/tile support and theming. I'm calling the community to drop your AUR apps for my agents to test and add @dhh
I just got my first Omarchy plugin approved. It’s a desktop and mobile-friendly trakttv app. What do you guys think, is the market in fact the AI app store are dreaming of? Should it receive first-class app support? @dhh
