Said someone who would have known about grooming gangs while being the editor of one of Britain's largest newspapers.
Labour MP Ann Cryer raised the issue back in 2002/3, Channel 4 broadcast concerns of Pakistanis grooming underage girls in 2004, while Piers apparently hid from the scandal to protect his precious job and his newspaper the Daily Mirror.
Piers is always late with the news, he always tests where the political winds are blowing before 'coming out' with anything, he waits for the overton window to move before he does anything.
Piers is a self absorbed narcissicstic wanker and a coward.
It's people like us who move the overton window, only then does he grow the tiniest pair of bollocks to say anything at all.

There is currently no evidence I can find that Piers Morgan's Daily Mirror reported Ann Cryer's warnings about Pakistani-heritage men grooming and sexually exploiting young girls when she raised the issue publicly in 2002–04, despite the story being reported elsewhere nationally before Morgan left the paper.

At some point, you have to look at the players and ask serious questions.
You can keep changing managers, but if the players aren’t held accountable, what exactly is going to change?
I genuinely think Manchester United need people like Roy Keane and Wayne Rooney around that dressing room. People who will hold the players accountable, not just blame the manager for everything.
How many managers are you going to sack before demanding more from the players?
I refuse to believe this United squad isn’t good enough to at least compete against teams like Leeds, Hull City, Como and others. At some point, the players have to take responsibility. You can’t keep hiding behind the manager every single time.

🔥 Wayne Rooney TEARS into Manchester United players: “NOT FIT TO WEAR THE SHIRT!”
This is as critical as I’ve ever seen Rooney about his former club. He’s raging, and rightly so. Michael Carrick is a Manchester United legend and a close friend of Rooney’s, so this one clearly hits a little harder than usual.
On Stick to United with @markgoldbridge, he went straight for the players who love the spotlight when things are good but disappear the second it gets tough, like Bruno, Martinez, Rashford and the rest:
“Where’s Rashford now? Things get tough, where’s Rashford? You need to play through the pain barrier. You need to be ready, to give everything for the club, and they’re not doing that.”
He didn’t stop there. After that abysmal performance against Bournemouth, Rooney said he was pleased when the fans stopped clapping Carrick off and turned their fury on the players:
“I was really pleased when they switched from clapping Michael off the pitch, and then they’ve turned on them players. They’re not fit to wear that shirt at the minute. I don’t think they ever will be. The least you can do is work and show that it means something and that you care.”
Rooney said the five-year-olds he coaches understand something these multi-millionaires don’t: You run. You chase. You fight for every ball. This squad can’t even manage the basics!
Rooney finished by expressing frustration that the same players are doing it again to another manager, and will almost certainly get away with it:
“Honestly, watching it’s just so annoying and frustrating and disappointing that these players are gonna get away with it again.”
Ruthless from Rooney. He is speaking for the fans here. They know Carrick hasn’t been good enough, but he’s a club legend who cares deeply about Manchester United and is giving his all.
The players have given up. They don’t even run, and that is unforgivable! The fans will back you no matter what if you give your best, but they will never accept what these players are doing.
Right now these players are a disgrace to the shirt, to the badge, and to everything Manchester United is supposed to stand for.
