"The Nigerian government will make us see electricity as a luxury. This is 2026, yet Nigerians are still lamenting over the lack of electricity. For over two weeks, we have not had a single day of electricity in our apartment in Lagos, and my estate does not allow solar panels or even generators."

I can’t believe Szoboszlai was a winger at RB Leipzig because honestly he has the exact same tunnel vision and cowardice issues Henderson had at Liverpool for years.
He plays from a place of fear. He hates receiving under pressure so he goes out of his way to avoid it.

"The main reason I can find to lose the game is we conceded [from] three set-pieces. It's something that we were doing very well in the league, I think we were dealing with it quite well until today."
"We knew it was one of the strengths of Fenerbahce but we concede from a free-kick, from a corner, even from the long throw at the end."

“I think we’ve put ourselves in a good positions so that as today if we lose this game it’s not a chaotic situation. We just need to get back to winning ways. If we win next game we are back to a really good position.”

“Their goals have hurt us because we’ve gone twice in front… but after we’ve conceded in situations we should definitely defend better.”

💬 𝗤𝗨𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗦 - Andoni Iraola on the feeling after the game:
“It's frustration, because it's a difficult place to come here and to play and we were for the most part of the game thinking,' OK, we can win this one.' But obviously it hasn't happened.”
“We have conceded, especially the first goal and the third goal – the second one is a rebound – but the wall, I don't think we set it properly and the last one Muriqi jumps and wins the ball against three of our defenders, it's something that definitely we have to defend better.”

Liverpool’s midfield clearly lacks players with the technical security to control games. Szoboszlai’s inclusion today disrupted the midfield dynamics: he isn’t effective between the lines as a No. 10, nor does he offer enough in the deeper areas. He is best suited to playing at right-back. Fenerbahçe were able to exploit those weaknesses. Totally unacceptable.

Can we say something about Dominik Szoboszlai? He's a really good player. He thinks he's better than he is, and that affects his game. If he knew his level, he'd be a better player.
Does that make sense #LFC fans?
