Imagine buying 7 Bitcoin for under $800. I was going through some of my records and found a purchase from March 2013. This was done on Coinbase with zero KYC. Those were some of my most memorable moments in crypto. I put my Uber earnings to work. I was living on the floor of a bachelor house trying to save every cent to buy Bitcoin. I show this not to brag but to encourage people to step out of their comfort zone and buy $BTC.

Your bank can't tell if it's you or an AI logging in. JPMorgan, BofA and Wells Fargo are scrambling. Same week, governments switched off their own websites. And the US now pays $2.9 BILLION a day just in interest. This week was a dress rehearsal 👇

Please do yourself a favor and unfollow anyone who keeps saying this war is over or will end soon. This will last decades. I’ve been saying this since 2 weeks into the conflict.

I work in private aviation. We are swamped with Private jets leaving the region past 48hrs. Not just wealthy expats and diplomats, royals leaving undercover. This started on Monday night for us, meaning they knew way before the announcements today 👁️

Something odd is going on under this market. BlackRock just had its biggest Bitcoin day in a YEAR: $665M. Stablecoins: down $2.6B in a week. Crypto's own money is leaving. Americans owe brokers $1.48 TRILLION. Nearly 5x the dot-com peak. No leverage. DCA on the red days. 👇

"THERE'S NOTHING RISKIER THAN CRYPTO." You've heard it from your bank, your adviser and the evening news. So let's look at the safe option. 2013. Cyprus. The banks shut for 10 days. When they reopen, savers at Bank of Cyprus lose 47.5% of everything over €100,000. 2015. Greece. The banks shut for three weeks. You can take out €60 a day. 2019. Lebanon. Banks lock people out of their own dollar savings. The lira loses about 90% of its value. 2022. Canada orders banks to freeze accounts linked to a trucker protest. No court order needed. About 210 accounts, roughly C$7.8 million. 2023. Silicon Valley Bank. $42 billion tries to leave in one day. By the next morning the bank is gone, and around 90% of its deposits were over the insured limit. Every one of these has the same thing in common. Someone else held the money. So someone else decided when you could have it. Now look at self custody. Your Bitcoin sits at an address that only your private key can spend from. That key comes from 12 or 24 words you wrote down yourself. No bank has a copy. No company has a copy. No government has a copy. There's no branch to close. No daily limit. No account manager for a freeze order to land on. The network doesn't do weekends or bank holidays. Send it across the street or across the world at 3am on a Sunday. Nobody approves it. Nobody can reverse it. Satoshi wrote it plainly in 2009: "The central bank must be trusted not to debase the currency, but the history of fiat currencies is full of breaches of that trust." The cypherpunk answer was to stop needing the trust. Yes, crypto is volatile. Yes, people lose money. FTX lost $8 billion of customer funds. Look at how: people handed their coins to a company to hold. Same mistake as Cyprus, new logo. Leave it on an exchange and you've just opened another bank account. There are two kinds of risk. The price moving. And someone else deciding whether you can have your money. Hold your own keys and only the first one is left. Your bank account has both.

Today is a perfect example of why I don’t touch my long term bags. I’d be stressed out of my mind trying to time every move. I’d rather have a life and DCA. Most are still sidelined BTW.

This probably isn't the best time to become complacent in the crypto space. Yeah it may seem boring but I can assure you that every great run in crypto started out BORING. I wouldn't want to be sitting on the sidelines right now.

I knew them 15 yrs ago and I tried also. It was still hard. Toby has a very innate skill of being stubborn and really good at going against the grain. Crypto has never been easy mayb harder back then. Anyone who made millions and actually “kept” it Deserves it. Very little Luck.

Richard Heart arrested in Istanbul. $7.15M in cash, seven guns, 1,400 rounds... and SIX cold wallets. At least he got that part right. Meanwhile Bank of America gets fined $1.2B in a quarter it made $6.9B. Nobody goes to jail. One rule for them. Another for you.

THE FOUNDER OF ETHEREUM MOVED 400 ETH, ABOUT $1 MILLION, INTO A PRIVACY PROTOCOL. It's called Railgun. Vitalik Buterin sent the 400 ETH in August 2024. When an earlier transfer drew criticism, his answer was three words: "Privacy is normal." The problem it deals with: a normal wallet is public. Anyone with your address can see your balance and every transaction in and out, forever. Once that address is tied to your name, through an exchange, a data leak or one payment, your whole history is tied to you too. How Railgun works. It's a set of smart contracts on Ethereum. You "shield" tokens by sending them into the contract. They become encrypted notes that only your private 0zk address can open. To spend them, your wallet builds a zero knowledge proof on your own device. The proof shows you own the notes and the numbers add up, without revealing which notes they were. Inside the pool, the sender, recipient, token and amount are all hidden. A "broadcaster" submits the transaction for you and takes its gas fee out of your private balance, so your public address never appears. What stays public. Shielding shows your address, the token and the amount. Unshielding shows the recipient, the token and the amount. Each one costs 0.25%. What can still give you away. Unshielding the same amount soon after you shielded it. Pulling everything out at once instead of common amounts. Sending from your own public address. Each token has its own pool, so a busier token gives more cover. Using it, through the Railway wallet app (iPhone, Android, desktop): 1. Create a wallet and back up the recovery phrase. Your keys come from it. No company holds them. 2. Shield ETH or a token to your 0zk address. 3. Wait one hour while it checks the deposit isn't from an address on the sanctions list. 4. Send privately to other 0zk addresses. 5. Unshield to a fresh address you haven't used before. You can also share a read-only viewing key. It shows your full private history to whoever holds it.

🛠️ How JPM Coin works on Ethereum JPM Coin is a deposit token: each unit is a dollar on deposit at JPMorgan, recorded on Ethereum. The network is public; the token is not. Only approved counterparties can hold or receive it, so JPMorgan still decides who transacts.

One seed. One device. One company's code. If any one of them fails, there's no second line of defence. Multisig fixes that, and it's far less daunting than it sounds. Here it is in plain English 👇

Weak hands got flushed out. Pretty obvious at this point. Good chance we run it back up shortly. It’s always a good sign when bearish sentiment suddenly saturates crypto. Those are usually the best buying opportunities for those who think they missed the boat.
