This issue has now been resolved. We advise our users to change their passwords for Wikidot and any other services which shared the same password.

Please see below regarding the recently announced PHP vulnerability and how it will affect the SCP Foundation.
An image containing the SCP Foundation's announcement about the recently announced PHP vulnerability. It is too long for alt text in its entirety, but the important things to note are that a fix is being worked on and users are not presently at risk of contamination on visiting the site, but that Wikidot is likely to be down or unreachable for a period of time and users are advised against logging in to Wikidot until a fix has been announced. It is advisable to change your Wikidot password but only after the vulnerability has been repaired. The same applies to any website for which you use the same password as Wikidot. Ensure that all your passwords are unique and randomly-generated.

I do believe there were SuperWhoLock fans on tumblr dot com who were fans for the gifs but never watched any of the associated shows. Being a “fan” of a media without consuming its source material is an interesting social phenomenon to be sure…

To be fair, I’ve got 1-2 billion views across channels. Media really do be stratified to the point that one person’s celebrity is another person’s “whuh?”
Melvin III@meldee3Oct 23
Things like this worry me. H3 has over 3 billion views across channels and is a consequential organization and then we have journalists (whose job is to understand, report on, and provide context to culture, society, and politics) saying “I’ve never heard of them.”
