General NS Raja Subramani, #CDS & Secretary, Department of Military Affairs, administered the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge to officials of #DMA, reaffirming the collective commitment to the ideals of national unity, integrity and security on the occasion of #RashtriyaEktaDiwas 2026.
The pledge reinforced the spirit of oneness, solidarity and collective responsibility, reiterating the resolve to preserve the unity and integrity of the nation and uphold the values that bind the country together as one strong and united India.

India feels like a scam even compared to Malaysia.
India feels like a total scam once you return from Japan.
Two countries with economies around the $4 trillion mark.
But the difference in what an average person experiences every single day is insane.
Japan:
Clean air.
Smooth roads.
Walkable footpaths.
Zebra crossings people actually respect.
World-class railways.
Clean public spaces.
Reliable basic infrastructure.
India:
AQI crisis.
Broken roads.
Missing footpaths.
Chaotic traffic.
Dirty public spaces.
Corruption at every level.
And the list just keeps going.
Forget competing with Japan.
Can we first ask why Indians pay taxes but still struggle for basic infrastructure?

I am really curious to know about the location of the 'big dedicated parking' because at the moment any event at Nehru Park means clogged roads around it.
We want to have tulip garden at a larger scale.
We have been doing it at Shanti path. Although it’s a delight for passers by and visitors but since there is no parking possible there, it leads to jamming, cars being parked on road side and visitors cannot spend longer time enjoying the bloom.
As a visitor I would love to be there around the tulip bloom for a longer time with my family, clicking pictures and even having a picnic alongside. But I can’t do it on shanti path.
So NDMC @tweetndmc will come up with a much bigger tulip garden inside Nehru park. We have identified the place and have started preparing the site. This will have a big dedicated parking. We will have some fun activity, drone photography, music etc alongside. People can come and spend much longer time with their families with no hassles.
We will continue to have the bloom at shanti path and larger Nehru park tulip garden will be an addition.
Tulip blooming is for just 20-25 days. So we will develop this place for round the year local seasonal flowers as a valley of flowers.
