🚨#ALERT: Everyone needs to be aware of this
Journalist Avery Daye exposes the history of Minnesota Rep Ilhan Omar
“Ilhan Omar — I figured not enough people know about her family’s history, so let’s recap:
Her dad and her grandfather were both high-ranking military officials in the Barre regime, which killed over 200,000 people. They’re most famous for the Isaaq genocide — it was the worst of the worst: aerial bombings, executions, man-made famine.
People massively suffered under this regime, with the help of people like Ilhan Omar’s family who supported the regime and carried out this, this horror.
— They have family ties to this guy known as the Butcher of Hargeisa, and his whole shtick was “kill all but the crows.””
“So the suffering of the people of Somalia was so bad that there was a civil war and the regime was overthrown. Her family fled first to Kenya and then Minnesota, claiming they’re like these asylum seekers.
These poor, poor people. No, no, no, no. They were fleeing to escape being held accountable for what they did. She was not oppressed. Her family, they were the oppressors.”
“So for the Democratic Party to have her as a representative is insane to me — and the way that they’ve like rebranded her as all this poor refugee? No, no. She wasn’t a refugee of war. Her family created the war.”

It’s insane how the only racial violence the media really covers is white on black, which is statistically almost nonexistent.

The USMNT will be stuck at the World Cup until it adopts Germany's blueprint
In 2000 Germany finished last at the Euros and decided it was time overhaul the system. They built 390 regional training bases to make sure one was within 25 km of every kid in country. They hired 1,200 full-time coaches, invested €48 million per year and mandated that every pro club build a certified youth academy or lose its license
The cost to families was $0 and 14 years later, 21 of the 23 players who won the World Cup came directly from the system

I supported Graham Platner despite claims of him having a Nazi tattoo (it wasn't actually a Nazi tattoo, it was a replica of one).
I supported Graham Platner despite his Reddit posts that were racist, homophobic, anti women (and therefore anti trans women), and in support of rape and sexual assault.
I supported Graham Platner despite him sexting with multiple different women while being married.
I supported Graham Platner despite his ex girlfriends who came forward alleging demeaning, intimidating, and physically threatening behavior towards them.
I supported Graham Platner despite him being on websites often used by pedos.
I supported Graham Platner despite him being homophobic by saying that he'd rape a home intruder, but not in a gay way.
But these latest sexual assault allegations, that's taking it too far for me and I will therefore have to stop supporting him.

Iman nails it.
I've been saying this for years. Illinois and Chicago have problems now, but those problems are nothing like the problems we're going to have in the coming decades because we're not attracting and keeping our young talent.
Illinois and Chicago still have massive potential. It's bad policies and bad politicians that hold us back. Fix that, and we will take off once again.
The biggest threat to Chicago isn't crime or taxes
It's the Big Ten grads pipeline slowing down
Chicago has the largest concentration of Big Ten alumni of any metro in America
For decades... Graduate from Champaign, Bloomington, Iowa City or Madison in May, sign a lease in Lincoln Park or Lakeview by June. Like clockwork for decades.
Those grads got jobs at consulting firms, Fortune 500 companies, law firms, trading shops, tech startups, etc.
Now that the same 22-year-old is considering Dallas, Nashville, Austin, Atlanta, or Miami. Decades ago, we never really competed against those cities for Big 10 grads, now we do.
Fix crime. Fix the schools. Make it business-friendly or watch the next generation of entrepreneurs build somewhere else.
Don't keep taxing us more, grow the tax base. That's how Chicago wins.

🚨 MOM WALKS INTO A SPORTING GOODS STORE AND LOSES HER MIND AFTER SEEING A $500 KIDS BASEBALL BAT — “THIS IS PRICE GOUGING”
A mom filming inside a sporting goods store says she thought she was just grabbing a bat for her kid’s season.
Then she checked the price tags.
One bat on the rack: $500.
Right next to it: $450.
Then she looks at baseball mitts.
One youth glove: $330.
“I don’t care what the material is … unless it’s made out of solid gold it ain't worth $300."
Next she checks the equipment bags.
$450.
Parents watching the video say youth sports equipment prices are getting completely out of control.
Some say it’s starting to feel less like inflation and more like straight up price gouging targeting families.
Between bats, gloves, bags, cleats, and league fees, some parents say a single baseball season can now cost thousands of dollars.
Are sports stores price gouging parents… or is this just the new normal?
