山崎貴監督というとどうしても
「心ある映画ファンには失笑ものの「ザ・日本映画」を撮っていた監督」
という偏見があるみたいで、一部の映画評論家にはもう頭から小ばかにしてる層がいましたね。
私は最初から評価していたし、「そこまで言わなくてもいいじゃないか」と思ってました。
ただ、そうした層も「世界的に大ヒットのみならず、内容も絶賛」されていく現実を目の前に180度転換まではせずとも沈黙していく例が多かったですね。
とはいえ「自分たちが散々こき下ろした」映画が世界的に認められていくのが悔しいのか中々認められず、アカデミー賞受賞も余り大きく取り上げなかったりしましたね。
あの評論家（敢えて誰とは言いません）が今回の「ゴジラ-0.0」をどう評価するかは楽しみ…ではないですね。
正直あんまり聞きたくないです。
評論にはある程度頷けるところはありつつも、それまで散々酷評どころか失笑してきた監督の作品ってことで、「強引な」こきおろしが目立つので聴いてて非常に不愉快だったので。
「ゴジラ-1.0」の主な酷評ポイントとしては以下の二点がよく言われます。
１ GHQの不在
２ 日本の「被害者意識」ばかり強調されていて、加害者としての反省という視点が足らない
１に関してはまあ、確かにその通りなんですが、その気になれば核兵器も持ち出せるスーパーパワーなので不自然と言えばその通りなんだけどこれは映画だからなあ
２も同様でゴジラに直接被害を受けているのは間違いないわけで、そんなことまでやり始めたら２時間の娯楽映画としてはキリがないです。
とりあえず11月3日を楽しみにしております。
