little personal update, I’ve joined @OpenSea OpenSea was the first app I used when I got into crypto in 2021, and I’m very excited to help make it the best starting point for millions more. Let’s get to work!

If you’re unfamiliar with how the rewards work, The fees work on a curve, as the market cap of a token gets higher, the fees are gradually reduced. This incentivizes deployers/teams to target high volume and low market caps Explains a lot abt the current state of things.

things onchain would be a lot better if we went back to tokens having zero rewards whatsoever less taxes on buys + realignment of incentives to make tokens actually go to high market caps rather than just repeatedly rinsing 3m toppers

not only am i not worried about the crypto community's ability to handle the upcoming ai/quantum threat, i will venture to say that in the next 2 yrs the world will realize crypto is far better prepared for it than the rest of the internet and finance. we've had a trillion dollar *irreversible* honey pot for a decade, producing a far more battletested system and adversarial security culture than pretty much anywhere else on earth.
