We’ll look closely at what formal and informal financial services small firms rely on to save, borrow, and make payments. We’ll look at their use of digital to understand where, when, why—and why not—they adopt new technologies.

We are already collecting data on our sample of small firms in 2 countries: #Ethiopia and #Colombia. After that, we’re on to Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Indonesia, and Fiji.
