At 3 am, if we are having insomnia, we miss ANYONE. I wouldn’t read anything into it. Of course, the other option is that she is drunk and that is why she texted that .. but again, that is just our own discontent over being with ourselves … which is what “missing” is all about. It really has NOTHING to do with love, and can even wreck love, since it is a self-centered focused on ourselves .. while love is caring about the OTHER person rather than ourselves. Love generally takes about 20 years to develop in a romantic relationship, and only 12.5% of all married couples achieve it (I have no data on unmarried couples, except that they are twice as likely to break up as first-marriages are).

The world has lost sir Patrick Stewart, but spare a thought for Ian McKellen. These two shared a lifetime of friendship, rivalry, disagreements, and unforgettable battles. Beneath all their differences, Patrick Stewart was one of the few people who truly understood Ian McKellen

We were both at the same friend’s party and somehow ended up on the balcony alone. She was leaning on the railing, looking at the street below. I stepped out and she didn’t move away. For a while we just stood there listening to the music from inside. “I was about to leave,” she said. “But I didn’t feel like going home yet.” She turned her head and looked at me. The wind moved her hair across her face. She didn’t brush it away. “You can walk me if you want,” she said. “Or… we can stay out here a little longer.” She stayed where she was, close enough that our arms almost touched.

So, I’ve seen my boyfriend every day for the past three weeks, which is not our normal programming because I genuinely enjoy my alone time. The past three weeks have been hectic, so he’s been by my side providing support. Today, because my kid was sick, I stayed home taking care of her. At some point, I started feeling weird, like something was missing, and then I realized I missed my man. This has NEVER happened to me before. I don’t miss the living. So, I made him dinner.

My stepbrother had a strange habit of making every man I fell in love with disappear from my life. At first, I thought I was just unlucky. The first man I dated for more than six months broke up with me after receiving anonymous messages containing screenshots of conversations I'd never had. The second suddenly accused me of being manipulative. He refused to explain why, insisting that someone had shown him enough evidence to convince him I wasn't the woman he thought I was. The third packed his belongings while I was at work and blocked me everywhere. Three men. Three heartbreaks. Three different reasons for leaving. And somehow, my stepbrother, Nathan, was always there to pick up the pieces. He was the one who brought me ice cream after my first breakup. He sat beside me on the bathroom floor when I couldn't stop crying after the second. When the third left, he drove across town at two in the morning because I'd called him sobbing. He never said anything bad about my exes. He simply held me and whispered that I deserved better. Nathan was my father's wife's son. We hadn't grown up together, but when our parents married, we became family. He was three years older than me, quiet, intelligent, and almost disturbingly observant. He knew when I was lying about being happy. He remembered things I'd mentioned years earlier. He could tell from the sound of my footsteps whether I'd had a good day. Sometimes, his attention felt comforting. Other times, it made me feel like I was living inside a house with no locked doors. He hated when I changed my perfume. He always noticed when I bought new clothes. And whenever I mentioned a man I liked, his face would become unreadable before he'd ask the same question. "Are you sure he's good enough for you?" I used to laugh. "You're not my father, Nathan." He'd smile faintly. "No. I'm the person who has to watch what happens to you when your father isn't around." I thought it was sweet. Until I met Daniel. Daniel was different from the others. He was patient, affectionate, and the first man who made me feel safe enough to imagine marriage without feeling terrified of losing myself. I deliberately kept him away from Nathan for months. When they finally met at my birthday dinner, Nathan was perfectly polite. He shook Daniel's hand, asked about his work, and even offered to drive us home. Nothing seemed wrong. But when I returned to the living room after seeing Daniel out, Nathan was standing beside the window with his phone in his hand. "He's not the one," he said. I laughed because I thought he was joking. "You're going to have to get used to him. I'm serious about Daniel." Nathan looked at me for a long moment. Then he said something that made my smile disappear. "That's what you said about the others." Two weeks later, Daniel disappeared from my life. And this time, when I called Nathan crying, he didn't answer.

MY BET WITH THE BANK MANAGER Yesterday, I walked into the biggest bank in the city and told the staff I wanted to deposit $10,000. But first, I insisted on speaking with the manager. When he arrived, he helped me with the paperwork before asking, “Madam, that’s a lot of money. What do you do for a living?” I smiled. “Nothing special. I just make bets.” He laughed. “You’ve made that much money betting?” “Oh, yes! In fact, I’ll bet you $1,000 that you’re wearing a wig.” The manager burst out laughing. “Absolutely not! I’m young, and my hair is real.” “Then let’s bet,” I challenged. He thought I was an easy target and quickly agreed. I insisted we settle the bet the next morning at exactly 10 a.m., with my lawyer present. The next day, I arrived with my lawyer. After greeting the manager, I said, “Since the stakes are high, I’d like to check your hair myself.” The manager agreed confidently. I walked over, grabbed his hair, and pulled it firmly. At that moment, my lawyer began banging his head against the wall! The manager stared at him in shock. “Madam, what’s wrong with your lawyer?” I smiled sweetly. “Oh, nothing. Yesterday, I bet him $5,000 that I would walk into the biggest bank in the city today at 10 a.m. and pull the manager’s hair. Looks like he just lost his bet!”

My store manager had a rule. "Clock out at close, then help me finish the floor." Everyone did it, and nobody asked why. I said, "Okay." Then I bought a small green notebook and kept it in my apron. Every night I wrote two lines. The time I clocked out, and the time I actually reached my car. I did it for eleven months, and on a good night the gap was 40 minutes. On a bad one, almost two hours. The average came to 52 minutes. Nine of us were doing it, and none of it was paid. In October, the district manager came for her quarterly visit. She sat at the folding table in the break room and asked, "Does anyone have anything they'd like to raise?" Nobody spoke. My manager smiled at the wall. I slid the notebook across the table. I didn't say anything. She opened it somewhere in the middle, on a night in March. Then she read the line above it, and the line below...

At exactly 7:00 a.m., every human being on Earth disappeared except me. I woke up, switched on my phone, and saw millions of missed calls from unknown numbers. The television was showing an emergency message: “If you can hear this message, DO NOT LOOK OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW.” Of course, I looked. Every street was empty. Cars were abandoned, food was rotting in shops, and even the birds had disappeared. Suddenly, my phone rang. It was my mother's number. I answered, trembling. A strange voice whispered, “My son, we warned you not to open the door.” I froze. My mother had been dead for twelve years. Then someone knocked on my bedroom door. Three times. And a voice from outside said, “Son, I know you're inside. Open the door. It's your mother.” The terrifying part? I lived alone. Would you open the door?

Anthropic is making billions from AI, but its IPO filing reveals a financial picture that deserves a closer look. The company reported $16.3 billion in revenue during the first half of 2026, alongside an $80.7 billion net loss. Much of that loss came from a non-cash accounting charge, not ordinary operating expenses. But here’s the bigger question: can even the fastest-growing AI companies turn massive demand into sustainable profits? The AI race is no longer just about who builds the smartest model. It’s about who can afford to keep building.

I believe it is. From experience and talks with others, and everything I have read, this is the way the body works: it makes sperm and semen on a regular basis. It HAS to come out once in a while. It is NOT NATURAL to hold it in, and goes as far as taking over while you are asleep and FORCING you to get rid of it, since you won’t do it like everyone on else is compelled to do, at least once in a while. The problem has always been (among others) knowing what is ENOUGH and what is TOO MUCH. For some, once a month may be enough. For others, twice a day is enough. The stuff is made SPECIFICALLY to be periodically ejected, not held inside till you burst. For detailed information, see HealthyStrokes.com.
