Today is the release day for SQUANDERERS' "Bright Madness" -- our first album for Blue Chopsticks. In their recent Wire cover feature Squanderer Wendy Eisenberg describes this trio with Bonner Kramer and me as "the most beautiful mermaid shit I’ve ever heard in my life."

ALT The image shows the interior of the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, featuring ornate architecture and a large, illuminated ceiling. Rows of empty seats face a stage with a closed, gold-colored curtain. The theater's design includes intricate decorative patterns and warm lighting.
ALT A historic stone courtyard with arched walkways, detailed columns, and a garden area. The scene includes pathways, green foliage, and a wooden door leading into a stone building.
ALT A vibrant, eclectic room featuring a large, vintage tank labeled "Smashed Plastic" mounted on the wall. Below it, there are colorful vinyl records displayed. The space includes a wooden bar with turntables and a cozy seating area with red tufted benches and mismatched chairs.

It’s been a hot minute since the last release, but it was well worth it. @itchyandthenits returns with this year’s “Greetings from…”, a refreshing ode to smelly boys, cartoons, tv and minimalist beach bop rock'n'roll 🏖️

We're thrilled to announce Songs For Sad Poets Vol. III, the new collab album by Tehran-based composer Siavash Amini and Brooklyn author Eugene Thacker, inspired by the tradition of poètes maudits ("cursed poets"). An album truly beyond words & worlds.
