$META reports after the close. We think 3Q26 earnings could be positive read through for $CLSK & $APLD (among all PSPs and neos) - Look for Muse monetization and potential compute expansions to support it - FY 2026 capex guide is currently $130-145B - FY 2027 consensus capex guide is $193B Muse early adoption looks strong with 10.9M downloads and ~2.5M DAUs, much faster growth than other launches (although caveats being Muse launched on IOS and Android at once while ChatGPT, Claude and Grok were initially IOS only, and it was heavily promoted taking up most of Metas house-ad impressions). DAU durability is an open question due to this heavy marketing push. Lot of focus on Muse's monetization path and compute needed to support it, which is relevant for $CLSK which already has a 20-year lease with Meta at Sandersville (175MWs), and a LOI/exclusivity for 885MWs in its TX portfolio. Commentary supporting more 3P leases of capacity would be positive and would support lease execution of this additional power. Would be good to hear that Meta is back focused on utilizing its compute in-house rather than re-selling excess. Meta is also expected to come to debt markets shortly after earnings to fund capex plans, a smooth process could support their ability to keep expanding capacity via 3P leases (CLSK). It is also believed that APLD's two newest leases are with Meta (one unnamed hyperscaler), 300MW in Louisiana and 300MWs in North Dakota. Although this is unconfirmed. Also a potential beneficiary around commentary from Meta around wanting more 3P compute.

1/ How I think about $CLSK capital allocation: Sandersville's equity is fully funded and mgmt has ruled out equity-linked raises for it. Texas (Sealy/Brazoria) is the next ask. 2/ Rough math, my own estimate: ~600 MW at $10-12M/MW with ~90% project debt implies ~$600-700M of sponsor equity. Unencumbered BTC, assuming lines of credit are drawn, is ~$800M at $81K. That's a thin cushion, and it shrinks if BTC falls. 3/ So selling BTC for buybacks competes with the very asset that funds Texas. Raising equity later at ~$10 would cost more than a buyback gains. Sequence matters: lease, financing, then discuss capital returns. Not financial advice. Just my opinion....

To my American friends, part two. Last time I talked about France. This time I want to talk about something bigger than France, bigger than any midterm you've ever voted in: who will control artificial intelligence. You carry a responsibility no other people on earth carries right now. The most powerful technology in human history is being built in your country, under your laws. Whatever rules you choose will become the rules for the world. If Democrats retake Congress, here is the playbook I see coming, because in Europe we've already watched the first chapters. It starts with a beautiful promise. Superintelligence will bring abundance. Cures for every disease, free education, the end of scarcity. And it might. But then comes the sentence that always follows: "This is too important to be left to the market." Then comes regulation. It won't be one law. It will be a thicket of them: licenses to train a model, mandatory audits, compliance offices, approved datasets, safety boards staffed by people who have never shipped anything. Each rule sounds reasonable on its own. Together they build a wall. Who can climb that wall? Not the kid in a garage in Ohio. Not the two-person startup. Only the giants with armies of lawyers and lobbyists. Some of the biggest AI companies have already gone to Congress asking for a licensing regime. When incumbents beg to be regulated, it's not because they love rules. It's because rules are a moat. So you end up with two or three approved AI companies sitting next to the government, dressed up as competition. They would share the same values, the same filters, and the same red lines, all decided in the same rooms. Europe just did this with the AI Act. The result is that we barely build anything. We regulate what Americans and Chinese create. Now think about what that means once AI is everywhere. It will decide what information you see, what loans you get, which jobs you're screened for, and what speech gets flagged. A small class of officials and their partner corporations would hold the master switch on human knowledge. That is a new nomenklatura. The Soviet apparatchiks needed millions of informants to control what people thought. This one would need a few data centers and a compliance policy. Orwell imagined a telescreen in every room. We're building something far more intimate. This is exactly what your Founding Fathers feared. They had just escaped a distant power that decided everything for them, so they designed a country where power could never concentrate in one place. They split it, checked it, and handed the most important guarantees directly to the people: the right to speak and the right to bear arms. Those rights were never gifts from the state. They were limits on the state. Free speech came back to life the day X stopped being a censorship machine. But a Constitution is only as strong as the citizens who defend it at the ballot box. If AI gets centralized in a handful of approved hands, those rights become words on old paper. Have you watched Altered Carbon? In that world, the ultra-rich live for centuries by buying new bodies. Everyone else gets one life, rents their existence, and dies. Society hasn't collapsed. It works perfectly for the people at the top. That's the real horror: it's stable. No amount of work, talent or merit can lift someone from the bottom, because the ladder itself is owned. That's what a captured AI economy looks like. It won't be chaos. It will be a permanent ceiling. America has always been the opposite: the one country on earth where a nobody with a laptop can become somebody. I build my company between Paris and San Francisco. I know which side of the Atlantic still lets you try. So before you vote, ask every candidate one simple question: will your AI policy let a 19-year-old in a dorm room compete with the giants, or will it protect the giants from that 19-year-old? Keep AI open. Keep power distributed. Keep the ladder. Stay American.
I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you. I come from your future. In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream. Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them. The promise was protection. The result is stagnation. The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe. I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has. Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France? Trust me. You don’t want to be France.

A quick reminder on where CleanSpark stands: Sandersville is fully funded through completion with the $2.276B we closed Sept 25. Non-dilutive, fixed-rate financing. No equity or equity-linked funding needed to build it. We funded first. Now we’re building.

$META expects $130B-$145B of CapEx in 2026. But that’s only part of the buildout. At June 30, it had $279B of leases not yet commenced, then signed another $68B in July. Meta is committing to infrastructure years into the future. Still a bubble?

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump just dropped a major truth nuke that SI data center companies are going to come into American communities and make EVERYTHING BETTER "Data centers, the money brought in, taxes go down, income goes up, value of housing goes up. The companies...they will be VERY generous with communities. They will form partnerships with communities, they will benefit financially, morally, EVERY SINGLE WAY." There are many situations where SI data centers help PROPERTY TAXES go way down as well As long as they are built in the right spot, it's a no-brainer! It keeps America NUMBER ONE and benefits US citizens 👏🏻

A milestone for CleanSpark: we have closed a $2.276 billion senior secured notes offering, the largest capital raise in our company’s history. I am proud of the team that brought this transaction to the finish line. It took coordination across finance, legal, development and operations, along with the support of our banking partners and investors. Thank you to everyone who played a part. This financing is an important step as we execute our AI data center strategy. The work now turns to delivering on it. $CLSK
