Let's be honest.
We know by now that it's never really the PM who is running the country.
The same people are still behind the scenes, calling the directions.
Don't forget the Libdems too...
They've found the one thing both tory & labour MPs agree on. Suppression of dissent, especially when it concerns the Israeli govt. What a world. #politicslive

The Green Party will not be bullied by Burnham acting as a mouthpiece for US imperialism and its Israeli proxy. His political manoeuvring is unleashing chaos in local communities across Britain. He should answer to the people, not bend the knee to empire.

Hi @andyburnham instead of warring in the middle East, how about you get the RAF to drop flour in Gaza instead? Famine is setting in and you need to pay reparations for aiding genocide.
Within the next 48 hours, if flour is not allowed into Gaza, all bakeries in the city will stop producing bread.
We are facing an enormous catastrophe. Famine is knocking on our doors once again, and this time, it could be worse than anything we have experienced before.
Please, do not remain silent! Talk about Gaza, make our voices heard around the world, and do everything you can before thousands of people lose access to something as basic as a loaf of bread.

Looks like this review was always intended as a stitch up to halt criticism of Israel - not to tackle the very serious issue of antisemitism Jewish children may face.
Sad that once again the topic has been weaponised to support Israel.

In a short while, Secretary of State for Education, @LucyMPowell will present the Sir David Bell review into antisemitism in schools and colleges.
This review is billed as the 'Independent review into antisemitism in schools and colleges'.
I've spoken to a number of individuals and organisations that submitted evidence to the Bell Review when the call for views from people with relevant lived experience, knowledge or expertise of antisemitism in schools and colleges went out earlier this year.
A number of them have gotten back to me to relay their horror and dismay that the review seems overly focussed on issues such as the presence of Palestine solidarity badges and other imagery in schools rather than the multitude of clear examples where Jewish students have been targeted with antisemitic abuse, discrimination and hatred.
It appears that the review is coming down hard on expressions of Palestine solidarity while being rather light on pupils who do Hitler salutes or make jokes about Jews and money.
Having done a little research I do also have some serious concerns as to the impartiality of this review and also the recommendation that schools adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism despite it not being possible to make this compulsory, nor is it legally actionable.
If we care about tackling antisemitism in society, ensuring we get to it where it manifests in our schools and among young people, then we need to put a stop to the weaponisation of antisemitism and its use for political football where Israel-Palestine is concerned.
This review is fundamentally biased, ideological, and linked to efforts to tie Jewish identity with support for Israel while suppressing pro-Palestine expression as 'antisemitic' and intimidating for Jews.
The reality of course is that young Jews in the UK are way more intimidated and frightened by their classmates doing Hitler salutes, making jokes about the Holocaust, doing gas sounds towards them because they're Jewish, being physically assaulted for being Jewish, being bullied and isolated for being Jewish, being sexually assaulted (reports of kids demanding to see the circumcised penis of a Jewish school child in year 8), and all the other antisemitic shit that is happening in our schools.
I'm also reminded of what we learned from the documentary film @IsraelismFilm about the efforts to indoctrinate young Jews into seeing Israel as integral to their identity as Jews, that when Israel is criticised they are being personally attacked as Jews, and that they can only see themselves as Jewish if they support and love Israel.
Anyway, below are some very serious issues relating to Sir David Bell, his lack of impartiality, and the failure to declare vested interests of himself and a number of those on the reference group:
- David Bell's role as a permanent secretary at the department of education was not disclosed as a conflict of interest.
- David Bell is named on the national council of the 'National Study Group', an educational charity, that in its mission statement says that its goal is to "initiate or expand active links and research collaboration between academics, specialists and centres-of-excellence in the UK and their counterparts in Israel." The ASG is "primarily a UK-Israel operation" and rather worryingly the "only issue on which ASG has firm policy is opposition to BDS. The Charity is totally committed to the universality of knowledge and rejects any disruption to cross-national co-operation."
- The ASG, of which Sir David Bell is named as a member of national council, provides educational talks about Israel to schools.
- Executive director of the ASG, John D.A. Levy, is on the advisory board of Academic Friends of Israel and a separate charity, the friends of Israel educational foundation.
- The Friends of Israel Educational Foundation carries out hundreds of school talks in the UK.

Working people in Britain can't afford to put their heating on because of politicians who get their heating paid for them by the very people who can't afford to put their heating on!
It's time to stop the expenses gravy train.

My controversial but accurate Left Wing opinion.
We shouldn't pay to renationalise anything, nor should we pay their debts.
They have stolen more than enough already.

It's why they voted against lying in Parliament from being an offence. Only a few would survive in government and those are the ones who the established order, denigrate and keep at arms length from influence. The power resides with the corrupt
I don't think most people realise just how sinister this is.
It is not about real antisemitism.
It aims to stamp out any criticism of Israel.
It is Labour, completely caving in to the Israeli lobby.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, this fraud's son has been enlisted in the army of another sovreign state that is currently on trial for genocide at the ICJ and whose leaders are wanted for war crimes at the ICC.
Antisemitism is the ultimate othering, often driven by ignorance which is the enemy of the cohesive and empathetic society we wish to build for all citizens.
With this in mind, the Bell Review reveals a deeply troubling level of antisemitism in our schools and colleges and is a painful indication of how far the situation has deteriorated.
I commend Sir David Bell for his important work and hope that recognising antisemitism as a potential safeguarding concern will prove to be a significant step towards protecting Jewish pupils.
I also welcome the Government’s decision to adopt all 27 of its recommendations and look forward to seeing them implemented in full.

I never thought I could be so disappointed in a political leader. Not content with letting Burnham shred his net zero ambitions, he's now going all in on Palestinians and their supporters are all vile Jew-haters actually.

What has Labour become? This is the result that Labour Together fought for, destroying dissenters along the way. The party now is far to the right of the old paternalist Tories, such as Macmillan and they’re determined to destroy any competition from the non-Zionist left.
What is the point of politicians when they say one thing, then do the complete opposite once in positions of power?
Starmer proved himself to be a vacuous liar on so many issues...now Burnham is doing the same.
This is from exactly one year ago. Andy Burnham is a fraud.
