We truly didn't realise how much subtle propaganda we were fed as kids. 🤡
Take TMKOC for example.
Under the Congress government, protests were portrayed as a fundamental democratic right. Standing up and questioning the system was shown as normal.
Then the political regime changed and so did the entire script.
Now, any public protest is immediately framed as a public nuisance. The narrative shifts entirely to "traffic jams" and "citizen inconvenience", while the real demands of the protestors are completely erased.
All of this from a show that spent years glorifying:
• Blatant colourism and racist jokes targeted at Iyer
• Non-stop, degrading body-shaming of Dr Hathi and Goli
• Jethalal obsessing over his neighbour's wife is sold to us as family comedy
We genuinely believed this was harmless entertainment.

How interesting when the tide turns suddenly all these streamers who were scared of getting political are making it clear they’ve always been on the progressive side. This is the guy who couldn’t support Palestine publicly until recently once the mass majority of people turned on Israel. It’s cowardly to only speak out when there’s no risk in doing so. The most unrealistic thing about Harry Potter is that Harry was a famous athlete, the star Seeker of his Quidditch team, the youngest player in a century, and arguably the most famous teenager in the entire Wizarding World for surviving a killing curse from a bald man. Yet somehow, he wasn’t exactly drowning in romantic attention.
You’re telling me girls weren’t lining up to ask him to the Yule Ball? Half the school knew his name, he was a Quidditch star, and he had celebrity status, but we barely got to see him navigate any of the attention that should have come with all that fame.
Honestly, half the books should have involved Harry trying to dodge admirers, dealing with jealous rivals and finding mysterious love notes tucked into his schoolbag. J.K. Rowling, we need a revised edition!

Look at how Israeli Soldiers are healing in India after serving in the Israeli Military after the genocide in Gaza.
These soldiers apparently come here to heal from that trauma, post committing Genocide.
Close to 80,000 of them reach here in India, each year.
The Hummus trails stretches from Goa, Hampi, Pushkar and then to Himachal Pradesh.
What are we allowing, do we even realise this??
These are the same soldiers who have killed innumerable innocent children in Gaza.
They come to India to fight its psychological after effects and have the audacity to disallow Indians from being around their premises.
Indian Govt simply allows them to flee without captivating and arresting them when encountered.
This news is insanely bewildering, shocking and disgusting.
