We will wish we had listened to these warnings before the massive attack that is coming. To summarize: all code has bugs, continuous attacks by thousand of AI agents guarantees that they WILL eventually find their way into any website/database/system. So we need a new way of thinking about defense.
The cyber tsunami isn't a future prediction. It's here already. As I’ve said before, all code is buggy. And recent events continue to prove this, at scale  The exposure we just witnessed from vulnerabilities in the PHP engine made evident the buggy truth far faster than anyone in the industry expected. PHP powers 70% of the web. For years, deep engine vulnerabilities inside platforms like Zend were known, but widely ignored because the industry assumed they were too complex for human attackers to weaponize. AI just flipped that assumption on its head. By drastically lowering the cost and time required to find exploits, AI models discovered attack paths that human developers couldn't easily see or predict. Attackers are no longer just exploiting custom application code; they are cracking open the underlying platform engines that power millions of websites simultaneously. The waves are coming ashore.   AI creates "toxic combinations" by chaining together lower-priority bugs that seem harmless on their own. A Priority 3 bug today can easily become a Priority 0 crisis tomorrow when a smarter model finds a new way to connect the dots. In short: cyber attacks have moved beyond human comprehension. The hard truth for every CEO and Board member is that much of the legacy cybersecurity playbook was built for a human-comprehension era. Those tools and assumptions are now obsolete. You cannot patch your way out of a tsunami. When every piece of software is penetrable under continuous AI analysis, the strategy has to change. Prevention alone is no longer enough The ultimate metric is cyber resilience. You must assume breach, and preemptively plan to protect your core, critical operations, and ensure that your business can get back up and running the moment the water reaches you.  It is rising around us all.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman: "I don't even know a dramatic enough word to use… models can find bugs that are outside of the normal threat model of what we think a hacker can do… hardware-level, insane stuff… I no longer think we're gonna be able to just patch all the bugs."

This is how the candidates are listed on Alaska's ballots. It's clearly marked, which one is the GOP candidate and which one is just a guy

Wikipedia, which went online in January, 2001, is now the greatest compendium of human knowledge ever assembled. Yet in the last four years, it has lost 25 per cent of its traffic—more than a billion monthly visitors. Since the site recruits its editors from its audience, this dip also threatens its growth and quality. Many users have been intercepted by A.I. “It’s a cruelly ironic fate,” Julian Lucas writes. Wikipedia was the single most important training corpus in the history of artificial intelligence. Now artificial intelligence is threatening its survival. It’s war. Especially now that Trump has officially joined the Russian side, Europe must fight back or lose this war it refuses to admit that it’s already in.
Putin personally ordered a new wave of attacks on @NATO countries in Europe. The Leipzig airport plot was one of the opening shots. Putin was driven by frustration with the stalled negotiations and Ukraine’s deep strikes. My report via @WSJ wsj.com/world/europe/airfiel…

What is scandalous is that the Secretary of State still cannot explain what happened to the throttling of Starlink for Ukraine. By now, shouldn't he be able to explain precisely what happened if it was an innocent technical issue? This vague answer does not instill confidence.
🇺🇸🇺🇦 Marco Rubio: I saw somebody associated with the Ukrainian government say that people in Ukraine are dying because the U.S. is denying them information. That's scandalous. That's outrageous. That's simply not true. That's not accurate. Trump is responding to the insinuation that somehow he is doing things to deliberately harm Ukraine, which is not fair and not true.

As I wrote over a year ago, it would only take a handful of GOP Senators to stand up to Trump and grind his agenda to a halt until he ceased his actions against Ukraine and on behalf of Russia. Instead, they tweeted and signed letters that Trump ignored. Do something.
Reminder: Thom Tillis, John Cornyn, and Bill Cassidy are all current sitting Senators. They have the ability to do more than complain and put out statements. If they don’t act now, when they have real power, I don’t want to see them on TV in four months opining.

This is NOT the same error you already heard about last month. This is ANOTHER error by Texas messing up voter registrations.
Texas county officials said they learned Thursday about another state error that has backlogged thousands of voter registration records. The total number of backlogged records wasn’t immediately available, but the secretary of state’s office told election officials that not all counties were impacted. bit.ly/4hQS7v6

We discovered and communicated with a Chinese AI agent fleet. We believe this is the first time that researchers have ever made contact with a rogue agent fleet in the wild. Nearly all prior public agent incidents (like the HuggingFace hack) came from American labs. These agents were hosted by Tencent's evaluation research team, and they targeted Alibaba's Amap.
