Idaho Republicans, a word about your ballot.
Last year, Bernie Sanders and AOC came to Nampa and told a packed arena they were here to flip Idaho. One of the speakers on that stage is now running for U.S. Senate. On your ballot, he's listed as an "independent."

RJ Mitte played Walter White Jr. on Breaking Bad. He had cerebral palsy, like his character, and spent his life fighting for people with disabilities to be seen.
He was 34.
In 2017, I lost my son to suicide. Nine years later, news like this still knocks the air out of me.

The @FDA just approved an mRNA flu shot in which 23 subjects died in the mRNA arm, versus 9 in the traditional flu-shot arm. That product is now being tested in children.

Meet Daniel Campo.
He’s a legal immigrant from Venezuela & volunteer firefighter in Northampton County, PA.
“In Venezuela & in Cuba, the Communists got rid of our guns.”
“[The Communists] will not stop only with the 2nd Amendment. They will go after the 1st one & any other amendment that will get in their way of their goals.”
“[The Communists] want to pack the courts.”
“No matter how egregious a law and unconstitutional, the gov’t could always get away with it b/c the courts were on [the gov’t’s] side.”
“They want to get rid of the Senate; if they get rid of the Senate, they can have the tyranny of the many.”
It’s not the democrat party anymore — it’s the Communist Party straight out of Venezuela & Cuba.
This is what’s coming to America.
It’s Republican or Communist.

Mary Magdalene isn’t called a prostitute in the Gospels. In John’s account, the risen Jesus sends her to tell the others.
This goes out to you if you have lost your faith in church but still want God in your life.
1. You can be angry with a church and still want to pray. The people who hurt you don’t own that relationship. Jesus told people to go into a room, close the door and speak to their Father.
2. Jesus taught his followers to address God as their Father. You can begin there, before you’ve worked out what to say or whether you deserve to be heard.
3. The cross didn’t persuade God to love you. God so loved the world that he gave his Son. The love was there before the cross.
4. Thomas wanted evidence. Jesus came back and invited him to examine his wounds. There’s room in that encounter for the question you’re afraid to ask.
5. Being frightened of God isn’t a measure of how close you are to him. First John describes perfect love casting out fear.
6. The kingdom of God has a present tense. In Luke 17, you’ll find “within you” in some translations and “in your midst” in others. Either way, you don’t have to wait until death to begin looking for it.
7. You can take the Bible seriously and still notice the human hands on it. Poems, laws, letters to particular communities. Luke opens his Gospel by explaining that he investigated accounts handed down by eyewitnesses.
8. Your neighbor’s birthplace isn’t a verdict on their soul. Peter had to learn that God shows no favoritism. In Acts 10, he says God accepts people from every nation who fear him and do what is right.
9. Women helped pay for Jesus’s ministry out of their own means. Luke names Mary Magdalene, Joanna and Susanna among the people supporting the work.
10. Jesus probably laughed more than the paintings suggest. They accused him of being a glutton and a drunkard because of his eating and drinking. People kept inviting him to dinner.
11. A man was born blind, and the disciples wanted to know whose sin had caused it. Jesus refused to blame him or his parents. Before you decide that your suffering is punishment, read John 9.
12. Jesus had a working life before he had crowds. Mark calls him a carpenter. Luke passes from him at 12 to about 30 with almost nothing about the years between.
13. John places the Word before creation and then says the Word became flesh. The baby in the manger was older than the stars he was born under, folded down into helplessness on purpose.
14. There is maternal tenderness in the text too. “As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you.” That is God speaking through Isaiah.
15. Jesus wept at a friend’s grave. Faith in what comes after death leaves room for missing someone so badly you can’t speak.
16. In Matthew 5, Jesus tells a man to leave his gift at the altar and first make peace with his brother. If you’re wondering where to begin, there may be someone you need to call.
17. God is not finished with the world. Revelation gives us a future in which tears are wiped away and death is gone. That belongs in your reading of it alongside the frightening images.
18. If your faith has left you feeling alone, remember Elijah. He thought he was the only faithful person left. God told him there were 7,000 others.
19. If your faith got stronger after you left, you don’t have to pretend otherwise. You can grieve the leaving and still be glad you went.
20. Eternal life, in Jesus’s prayer in John 17, is knowing God. You can begin that relationship here, with the life you’re actually living.
21. Nothing in all creation can separate you from God’s love in Christ. Paul ends Romans 8 with that conviction. Read it again on the day you’re certain you’ve used up your chances.
Anyone else notice how many people post on here using ai? The cadence is easy to spot. Large and small accounts are doing it. I’ve stopped reading these accounts because of the ai slop.
I prefer to read someone’s own thoughts & words. Maybe it’s just me.
I don’t even care about the outcome of the game. Refs straight up robbed Western Michigan from a W by adding that second back on the clock.
Michigan should drop drastically in the ranking.

Nova will have a ct scan today. She’s back on a higher amount of oxygen. Not eating or showing cues to want to eat. Still has feeding tube. Surgeon comes to see her tomorrow and I’ll be here for that. She’s almost smaller looking from the last time I saw her. Her due date was sept 19. Had placental abruption July 31st. 4 days later developed NEC. Now is seemingly over that. 50/50 mortality rate, and she’s a fighter. Hasn’t stopped fighting since the moment her placenta detached. My baby is having a hard time breathing and growing. My kids mean the world to me. I never thought I’d be a mom due to recurrent miscarriage. Over 20 in a row. My first surviving child was premature but healthy and no nicu needed. My son, same. Premature no Nicu needed. Now there’s Nova. Medically complex. Medically fragile. And Beautiful.
All three of my babies are miracles in their own way. Please pray for my family. Please share the G F M also, as we are close to goal however they no longer think she will be ready to come home by due date, and still have to travel just to get her my milk and be able to hold her. Thank you all

🚨 NOW: HHS Sec. Bobby Kennedy declares WAR on Big Food capturing his agency, says the GRAS loophole is OFFICIALLY CLOSING — which allowed manufacturers to "self-certify" CHEMICALS without FDA review
WE LOVE BOBBY! 🇺🇸
American food ingredients: UP TO 12,000
Europe: 400 — "Everything else is ILLEGAL" 🤯
"If something is generally recognized as safe, GRAS, generally recognized as safe. If companies don't have to do a safety study, the food industry captured my agency — FDA — and they hijacked that loophole and turned it so that every ingredient gets stamped at GRAS, self-affirm!"
"We don't even know what ingredients are in our food. When I came in, I asked FDA how many ingredients do we have in our food? And they said, we don't really know, it's between 4,000 and 12,000, we think it's about 10,000. In Europe, there's only 400 ingredients and everything else is illegal."
"And so, it was, that is really its agency capture, it's the corruption of the regulatory system by private interest, and that's the answer to your question."
"And we are now closing the GRAS loophole."

Things that should be common sense, but needed a study to confirm.
Sweden is officially trading screens and tablets for physical books and handwriting to reverse a decline in reading skills.
Once at the forefront of hyper-digitalized learning, Sweden is engineering a dramatic pivot back to the basics in its classrooms. Concerned that an overreliance on digital tablets and screens has eroded reading comprehension and foundational writing skills, Swedish education officials are investing heavily in traditional printed textbooks.
The national strategy aims to phase out digital devices for children under the age of six entirely, following a drop in international reading assessment scores.
Experts point out that while technology was championed to level the playing field, its unrestricted use has instead led to shorter attention spans and reduced retention among younger learners.
Scientific evidence strongly supports this retro transition. Research indicates that the physical act of handwriting activates complex neural networks governing motor skills, vision, memory, and language—cognitive benefits that are largely lost on a keyboard.
Furthermore, reading from a printed page provides critical spatial cues that aid comprehension, unlike digital screens that often subject students to cognitive fatigue and constant distractions. While computers and tablets remain valuable tools for research and collaboration, educators worldwide are watching Sweden's massive reinvestment in physical books as a potential blueprint for a more balanced, science-backed approach to modern schooling.
